well, they only enforce traffic laws twice a year or when a new law comes out. people here run lights all the time and does anyone remember with they made it illegal to use a keitai when driving? it was strictly enforced for a couple of months but now you see people using their keitais while driving all the time. same thing with the illegal parking law. anyone wanna bet that the same thing happens with the back seat belts too?
i also got into a fender bender once and the other guy ran but i got the make, model, color of the car and a partial plate including where it was issued and they couldn't catch the guy! incompetant or lazy? is it the same thing?
they are very nice though...no faulting them there.

they better improve their service! they raised their "fuel" surcharge to something like 30,000 yen while northwest only charges 6,000. apparently their is no requirement to justify "fuel" surcharges and both jal and ana are padding their pockets with this.

the problem is if the DJP wins a majority, i don't think they'll know what to do with it. all they do is complain and present no real plans on how to fix anything.

how about people saying "excuse me", "pardon me", "sumimasen" etc. instead of just barging in? why should i move if someone does not even give me this common courtesy?

was he crossing legally or illegally? sorry but i have no pity for jaywalkers. if he was jaywalking he put his own life at risk and suffered the consequences.
