China won't seek retribution on Japan because it's simply bad for business.

it may be bad for business but china has painted japan as a bad guy for years to drive nationalist sentiment and take their peoples' eye off other problems. look at the rampage against japanese businesses several years ago. now just imagine if the government let it go on and didn't eventually try to calm things down...

if you got the money, its yours to do what you want. its easy to gripe and say what other people should do with their money. for all anyone knows, the people that do buy this phone probably do give a lot more to charity than average. they can afford to and there are incentives for them to.

i don't see what china is whining about. google basically said they no longer wish to comply with chinese law and have left their jurisdiction so that they don't have to. what's totally wrong with that? other than highlighting that china's internet restrictions block free trade of internet services and information.

‘‘I don’t want to say bad things about the Japan Sumo Association, but there were things I didn’t like about what they (association officials) told me. They were strict with the rules,’’

if he followed the rules, they wouldn't have to have told him anything.

i am tired of reading all this propaganda. He lived a good life and now turns against the people who fed him. Disgusting.

...while his wife and children were being held hostage in north korea. i think it good that he exposed this even though it only for money. now if they could only distribute this book in north korea....

doggy bagging is a service that the restaurants can refuse if they want to but i don't see how they can't refuse if you bring your own bag. if they say you can't, then you should get a partial refund.

these are not worker working for an hourly wage. they are managers who have agree to be paid a fixed all inclusive salary to do a job. if they don't want to be managers they don't have to. they can stay on their hourly wage in which case i think they would be entirely justified in complaining of and getting paid for service zangyo. but in this case, i don't think so. this doesn't happen at McDs elsewhere does it?

as for people not being able to find jobs, that's another problem all together.

managers get paid salaries to do a job, not hourly, and everybody is responsible for their own health. if they can't handle the job in a reasonable amount of time, they can quit.
