can't even imagine how this mom would be feeling right now.. i mean, she did not leave the kids in the house and go pachinko or anything, they were all in the same house and mom was simply in the other room... who knows if it was for a minute or two, or could be longer, but my heart goes to this mom and also the dad.. even though there are things that we can blame on her, but i just cant imagine how terrible and sad she must be feeling.

I know.. I read a few different Japanese news and they all say it was the man who was feeding the cats and the woman had been telling him not to for a couple of years. He said he was angry because she yelled at him. If anyone can read Japanese, below are the links ..

I think many people think the lady was feeding cats... No. It was the guy who was feeding cats and the lady was telling him not to because of the kitty poop.

11 months old -- I wonder how much he cried and screamed while being stuck in the carseat and unable to get out.. As a mother myself, I cannot imagine how the mother could have even not think about the baby while playing pachinko.. I understand Pachinko can be addictive, but still... the most important thing should be the baby.

parents probably thought the kids were just playing outside of their house.. the kids decided to walk a little far and then got lost.. maybe the parents were not watching the kids for just a minute or two, but then the kids were gone. i can only imagine the parents were so scared when they couldn't find the kids. i cannot blame on the parents .. who can imagine your little ones walking that long distance and be on a high way!!!! parents should be thankful that the driver stopped and made sure the kids were safe :)

5 and 3 year olds????? Oh my goodness... Thank God the truck driver got them safe. They walked like 3 km from their house?? That's quite a distance for little kids.. they must be all lost and had no idea which direction to walk to to get home.

after the argument with the father, she left the house... THAT was a good move... only if she used that time to cool down. sure, she was frustrated and all, but then she shouldn't have been back to the house until she was cool enough.

this reminded me of the incident where a man stabbed his mother because she hid a remote control the other day.. or another incident where a man tried to kill his mother because she got rid of his plastic gundam figure. i think it all comes to the "nagging" these people just cannot take anymore but they cannot afford to get their own place to live.. after awhile, they get tired of so much nagging every single day. still, it is not a good reason to kill your mother/father, though...

@biglittleman: American woman and other foreign woman is what most Japanese women wish they could be like.
Oh YEAH???? I don't think J-girls dye hair for that reason. Simply just enjoying different colors as all(most) Japanese have blackish color of hair and eyes.. it's just fashin, almost like wearing different colors of shirts. When you say cute to older Japanese women, it's a compliment while saying cute to older western women, it might not be a compliment. Cute is a word for younger girls in western countries but not in japan.
