Sp mode? Honestly Why bother? That's the best part of android /google, the integrated experience. Ditching the @docomo address and having just one email account. A modern fully synchronized email experience - gmail Sp mode is a dog of a system. Move into the future people.

supply and demand. sadly plenty of pervos out there. Just like plenty of drug addicts wanting drugs. There is demand and the unscrupulous supply it.

so many uninformed people here! there IS NO LAW stipulating you must pay, only a system of obligation that you should pay. You can not be forced to pay it. The key thing is to NEVER agree to start a contract to pay the fee, that is when they get you. All the court cases over the past few years were people who had stopped paying the fee and the NHK took them to court for same legal breach of cantract clause. If you never start paying you there is NO LAW forcing you too pay and you can only be made to feel guilty for not doing so. That's it.

France played just one great game this RWC, tonight. Actually thankfully they did made for great nailbiter. They lost to Tonga and got thrashed by the Ab's in pool play. They were too inconsistent, one great game doesn't maketh a world cup. The Ab's have been the best team over the past 4 years and deserve the Cup, without doubt.

Seems some certain posters want to get a rise out of the NZ posters on this site with their niggly comments. Wont work. The Ab's won and are the World champs. well done.

4 to 4.5 inches- is fine unless you have kid sized hands. Android gives you the option of screen sizes - 3.3 from the xperia ray to 4.65 of the upcoming nexus. You get options! I cant believe that iphone is still sticking with the piddly 3.5 only, no options, that's it, one size does not fit all. Great phone but limited.. Samsung Galaxy nexus is an an amazing phone, it was just unveiled today. Cant wait to get one on docomo and be able to get 4 bars everywhere on it.

I was chatting with a bunch of middle aged J-people and they were saying the number of rinks has decreased dramatically over the years, they listed of a about a dozen rinks that have closed down in the region. Expensive places to maintain and take up large tracts of prime land.

Most married men sleep around with 20 different skanks?

Not most married - but high profile sportsmen: Kobe, Beckham, Ichiro, A-Rod etc etc scores of them who have played around. I wasnt comparing Tiger to the average Joe six pack, but his fellow sports stars, hyper competitive men who couldnt resist the temptation of all the chicks they could easily get. Whether they slept with one or 20, does the number matter? One or two is Ok? For the other guys who played around they havent been crucified to the same extent as Tiger, but I guess they arent as high up the ziggurat as Tiger. I guess, the bigger they are the harder they fall.

Indeed Madoka, reminds me of the Stereophonics song "lying in the sun"....

What did I ever do to deserve this? Did I kill a child or something worse? Same things as anyone, Same things as anyone....

Seinfeld summed up the silver best.....

I think I have a problem with that silver medal. Because when you think about it,you win the gold - you feel good, you win the bronze - you think, "Well, at least I got something". But when you win that silver it's like, "Congratulations, you almost won. Of all the losers you came in first of that group. You're the number one loser. No one lost ahead of you!"

If you didnt expect to even get on the podium in the first place, then a silver must feel unbelievably good, but when you know that you were hyped up and very much capable of the top step but fell short - a silver must feel like the "Seinfeld silver"

Mao has a Seinfeld silver there.

In other words, you don't care if the win is justified or not

did I write that? No I did not, FWIW I watched it live and at the time thought, wow that was dodgy and suspected the Koreans would get Dq-ed and they did, there was no travesty in the decision, I dont think it was a bad call, so there in lies the difference. The ref is a skating expert, he knows the rules much better than you or I. Had it truly been a horrendous call like the bribery in ice skating affair I would have had some sympathy for them. moshio7, nice post champ, top quality.

You play with fire, you will get burnt. Orcas are huge powerful animals capable of killing pretty much every other creature in the ocean. Ever seen a orca "playing" with a seal, thats what they do, Cats like todo it with mice, Orcas do it with seals. No one gets in the water and amuses Tilikunm anymore so he dragged someone in to "play" with him. He was bored by the sounds and he probably didnt want to hurt the trainer but a massive powerful creature like that doesnt even need to use 2% of its power and you are done. Sorry to hear a person has died though in a totally preventable death.

why do I have an axe to grind? the Koreans have a huge chip on their shoulders and their coach is a jerk. So it was nice to see China get elevated past them. Never thought I would be cheering for the Chinese sports production line. Yu-na on the other hand is one of the sweetest politest girls in the world, I dont mind her winning, so its not all Koreans.

I managed to watch the BBC coverage, it was pleasant to listen to insightful knowledgeable commentary and not a single 'sou desu ne' in sight. Lange and his brake man were awesome.

Feel good exciting news or doom and gloom? Let me see..... Try New Zealand when it comes to Rugby, a big All Blacks story will trump everything else, a big football story involving the English team in England, a big cricket story in Australia etc etc.

As for Toyota, most people see it as the USA wanting their pound of flesh and making an example of a foreign country to make their own sorry industry feel better. Toyota need to sort out their mess, consolidate and regroup and get on with it and perhaps close a one plant in the USA to spite the witch hunting politicians..... who cares if it not #1 and national pride at the olympics is? not me.

All I have say is I wish Yuna, Miki, Mao and Akiko would wear those tight lycra training pants all the time when skating, not just training. May the best set of legs win the gold!

His 'insolence' is misguided 'indignation' at being made a martyr by the press and half the country.

whatever there are far bigger issues in todays news than one 'insolent' young Japanese snowboarder.
