Who the hell would there be to compete? Mongolia, Japan, Russia.... and?

Finland, Norway, Poland. Hungary. Ukraine, USA, Georgia, Estonia, Bulgaria Thailand, France, Netherlands, NZ, Australia, Germany, Kazakhstan, UK and more You are obviously confusing OOzumo - Japanese Pro sumo with the very international amateur sumo - which is the one which wants Olympic status. You wont ever see the pro sumo guys there if it ever happens.

I bet he had a pretty cushy life eating damn fine food - 12 is pretty youngish for a lab, especially such a pampered one.

where else in the world would an elderly lady rock up with a million dollars in cash in bag?? I mugger would have scored the snatch of the century if he had picked her on that day...

Why didnt she give the cash to a more worthy cause? soup kitchen? a local rundown kindergarten etc?

QWERTY sucks and it such a nuisance to find a Dvorak keyboard hack to make the keyboard work.

jikokuhyoutetsu” (analyze schedules) - these guys are the most bizarre, you see riding trains thumbing through incredibly tatty schedule books. many of them have personality disorders so through their oddness they intimidate other passengers.

I guess the great tragedy is that the victim who happened to be behind him was a totally innocent and unprepared stranger and not an alert MMA fighter or martial arts expert in foul mood who could have reciprocated the act for one Natsuhito Ito.

Punishment? off the top of my head a fitting punishment but one that wont happen is that Ito gets put in the exercise yard of a maximum security prison where incarcerated crims with pent up aggression who "simply feel like beating someone. It doesn't matter who” can do so with impunity.

shame that overcrowded Japan doesn't have the space for lawn bowling greens - now there is the quintessential bowling variation that is perfect for the elderly and much more social than 10pin bowling.

Ukraine!!??? why are we talking about her hair?? her country is an utter shambles and to quote the BBC - the closest country in the world to a complete financial meltdown. They cant get IMF loans, their banks are broke.

She probably only here in Japan to schmooze up to Aso.

...if I had been one of the bystanders restraining him, I would have cinched an aikido elbow lock on him so hard that it would have busted his elbow. Lock this oxygen thief away and throw away the key.

I'm not sure the parents of Lindsay Hawker would agree with you. Damn sure I don't!

and there in lies the difference between realism and idealism. The question ask realistically* not **idealistically.

someone who is smart and doesn't want to be found can do so quite easily anywhere in the world, there are thousands of people in the world on the run from Osama Bin Laden to this chap. Who is to say is he still in Japan? most are under the assumption he still is, he could be anywhere by now. Sad as it is, this case is a going nowhere and is wasting resources, there are plenty of other fish to fry for the cops, I would rather they crack down on motorcycle gangs and such and improve the lives of the millions in Japan everyday.
