Again, it's a kitchen knife from the house that Miss Knox lived in, of course it had her DNA on it.
Secondly, you don't need 2 people to hold most women down to stab them. If you're a well-built man you can usually stab a woman all by yourself. Please explain why her DNA isn't on the victim's body if she was holding her down.

Of course her DNA was on the murder weapon, it's a kitchen knife in her house.
Her "excuses" make perfect sense, she was smoking pot with her bf, which is a completely reasonable and likely alibi.
Or are you referring to her accusations against her boss as her excuses?
If that's so, I'll agree with you there, that made no sense.
However, who are we to say we wouldn't falsely accuse someone of a crime if we've been interrogated for umpteen hours, hit and threatened with further acts of violence? The Italian police are committing a grave act of injustice here.
Of course the stories of the three accused don't match! The only person who committed the crime is Rudy Guede, the other stories came from 2 innocent kids who just wanted the interrogations to stop. Some of the evidence they obtained from Kercher's body is Rudy Guede's DNA, they didn't find anything to prosecute either Amanda Knox or her bf there. Their case rests on the word of a man who has prior rape convictions and was clearly at the scene. Not only that, but it's probably one of the most ridiculous scenarios I've ever heard. A sex party gone bad? How often does that happen? This case is a joke!

This case was a joke from the beginning.
From evidence fabrication to police misconduct to deriding the defendant's character in the Italian press (re: Foxy Knoxy, wild sex parties, etc.), it' s been tainted from the very beginning.
All Americans need to have a full understanding of the legal system of the country they're residing in. Take the Knox case as a wake up call and a warning.

No offense, but I disagree with this statement, "your an utter moron, just like I am." Speak for yourself, and only yourself, don't lump me into your category.
The innocent life I am referring to is the mother's, or does she not count as life?
How can you speak authoritatively? Again, you've never claimed to be a Dr.
Please, do a little more research, this time look outside of those pamphlets anti-choice people hand out.
On a personal note, thanks for telling me that you know everything about my father and that he would call me a moron, that certainly shows you to be a logical and rational person, capable of having a discussion in regards to human life.

jeancolmar- So much about your comment was so right. This is "one more hate murder within a fortnight".
What really bothers me is why we can't get these sickos help before they have a chance to carry out these vile acts?
America needs to pull itself together and start fixing it's mental health care system, because I'm sick of these incidents happening.
Apparently, this family knew this man had mental problems and chose to disown him, instead of committing him to the appropriate institution.
It's sad when anyone loses a life, but what makes it worse is knowing that these atrocities could have been prevented.
I doubt anything could have cured this man, but I know he could have been in a place where he wouldn't have had the opportunity to hurt others. That's what really bothers me, knowing this carnage was avoidable.

So you know a nurse, then? Does that make you a Doctor? Do you have medical training?
Please don't use your second hand opinions to justify your complete lack of medical knowledge. Perhaps "You really don't know anything about the subject do you".
While I sympathize with what I hope is your desire to protect innocent life, I abhor that you feel the sacrifice of innocent lives justifies it.
My father is a Dr, I grew up around Doctors and I know that there are cases where this procedure is medically necessary. Please spend your time educating yourself rather than spewing vile nonsense.

molenir- Really? In all cases? Please, Dr, tell me. Is it really ALL cases?
Unfortunately, there are instances where a late-term abortion IS necessary to save the mother's life, However, they are an exceptionally small amount of cases. 0.4% according to the article, and that's also taking fetal abnormalities, etc. into account. I only wish that these procedures WERE completely unnecessary. I think it's a horrid choice to have to make, deciding whether your own life or your child's life should be sacrificed/risked.

While "very few doctors become doctors for the sake of murdering the unborn" I believe all doctors practice for the sake of protecting human life. As the article stated, these 0.4 percent of abortions are performed mostly for this reason, protecting a woman's life.
The point I'm trying to make is how completely obscene it is that in my home country, we don't even protect people trying to do this. While it may be true that some doctors choose not to perform this type of abortion because, as you pointed out,"they don't want to be stifled", a lot of them don't out of simple fear. A very reasonable fear, as it turns out.

So no other doctors are going to step up and take over Dr. Tiller's clinic because America, as a country, refuses to protect people who are simply doing their jobs? What happens if a religious group in America decides that cancer doctors are wrong because they're interfering with god's will? Is America really planning on letting mentally unstable people control a citizen's access to health care? For the record, it's no one's business whether I'm for or against. I'm simply wondering what happened to being able to practice your profession without fear of death, something that used to be a matter of course when our society was run by sane people, not zealots.

Personally, I would prefer not to suffer through"aging gracefully" considering the AVERAGE lifespan for a woman from my homeland is 70+ years. Also, what you put on your skin doesn't simply affect your skin. In America, they still allow lead to be put in lipsticks and as for the ingredients in foundation, I won't even go there. So, it's a legitimate health concern if the regulations in Japan are just as lax regarding makeup. For the record, I don't judge people on their faces, but I think even ignorant people have the right to know if they're practicing/promoting an unhealthy lifestyle. Perhaps your 19 years of life haven't given YOU enough time to know anything about makeup, but I know all I need to and it can be summed up in 2 words, NO THANKS.

For the record, it really isn't healthy to wear that much makeup, that's what my post was about. I'm sure she's beautiful, for the moment. After wearing all of that toxic stuff for 20 years, I'm sure she'll look far better in the future (sarcasm).

Maybe it matters, maybe it doesn't. However, it's certainly going to be something the prosecutor will want to know so he can come up with the appropriate charges to get this woman tried hence why "the issue is was the child alive at all at any point". While many states have special sentencing guidelines to deal with the murder of a pregnant woman, Oregon does not. So, it's an issue.
From a humanistic perspective, I fully agree with you, a pointless bloodbath.

So like it's totally not like you know a sensitivity thing and all but like that vaguely valley girlish comment is like soooo lame.
There's certainly nothing wrong with sensitivity. That said, talking like you're 15 y.o is a weakness. Most women prefer their sensitivity with a side of intelligence, no offense. Vulnerability without intelligence, or at least a decent vocabulary? No thanks.
Posted in: Some guys still try to be manly and try to be like strong and stuff, but you know personally I'm not afraid to show my vulnerability because being vulnerable or being sensitive is not a weakness.

I think it's somewhere under the makeup, I just can't see it............ I really hope their health and safety standards regarding makeup are a little stronger here than in the US.

Was a democratically elected gov just compared to communist China?
Wow, this discussion is waaaaay beyond some people's maturity level.
Time to rustle up this thread and head out into the sunset there, cowboy, before we start some redneck revolution. No offense, the US has enough problems at the moment. Tienanmen Square, indeed.
