  this story makes me miss japan a little less. bueno. japan is like anywhere else I guess. beautiful country, beautiful language written and spoken, awesome food but some real fricken jerks here and there.

  I know I will never be Nihonjin and after all these years I found out that I don't want to be really. I am Half-Japanese/All American and very content with that. I would like to speak Nihongo fluently just for the hek of it but not living in Nippon makes that goal very difficult. I do what I can. I have other hobbies and intrests and repsonsibilities anyway.

  If the United States never gave back Okinawa to Japan in 1972, this issue would not even exist.
  But they did so if Japan want's all U.S. Marines to leave they would have to go. Hopefully something will get worked out soon.

  Pretty soon we will have to fly naked. When will this ever end? Look, if a guy looks like an Islamic Terrorist, scrutinize him. Making everyone including 85 year old caucasian women take off their shoes doesn't seem to be the ultimate answer. It is NOT racial profiling - It's commen sense.
