that is just stupid what you are saying lostrune2.... Exactly what you say.... American Football.. The club that wins in the US should be USA Champions... Not classed as world champions.... When Australia plays Australian football (Aussie Rules) and the team that wins the Championship (or as they say Premiership) They are not known as World Champions even know the best plays in the world only play in the top 16 clubs in Australia... I guess thats the difference between Americans and the rest of the world.... I just don't get it... If the Melbourne baseball team win the Championship in Australia they do turn around and say.."We are world Champions" How could they only Australian teams played and they didnt even get to play the NY Yankees... Now you say the best players play in the US... but not all the best players can play in the US..if all the best players in the world played in the US there wouldn't be very many Americans in the teams.....

Well it does have something to do with it... Why use the word World Championship and World Champions when only US teams are playing..... Why not use the words USA Championship and USA Champions..... When the world gets involved then the name should be used... but I guess Amercians do think they are the world..... and everything should rotate around their world......... Don't you think?

Well, getsy, in defense of the Americans I would say that the world's best players generally go play in the big leagues. So even if they said "USA Champions" they are basically comprised of the best players in the world. Might as well just say "World Champs".
Yeah but because there isnt a World Competition it should be the USA Champs.. Now If the world made a world competition the best players wouldn't have to go to the US... and also if there was a world competition what would they call it... or what would the US call their comp. Anyway the point is no other country is playing so it can't be a world comp..... >
