Thunderbird2: So remove the A class guys then, would you goto a template that had everyone killed in Germany + Hitler? No you wouldn't and neither should these lawmakers.

"De-shrine" or remove the A class war criminals from there and no one would have any issue for these law makers to visit this shrine.

It's a kin to Germany lawmakers visiting the grave of hilter and his top men and giving respect.

They need to tell those old folk that those children will be paying their pensions in 10-15 years time.

Could understand at night but we are only taking about the hours of 9 - 5 AT THE MOST, these old people need to get out of their homes. There are far more nosier things in Tokyo than children playing.

Organisers have come in for criticism over the timing of the race, which went ahead despite torrential downpours caused by an approaching typhoon

There was NO torrential downpours at all, I was there, it was light rain, the track just has extremely poor drainage and all cars were on intermediate tries by choice going against the recommended full wet tries of the race organizers. All the drivers wanted to race, even Hamilton on the radio said "hurry up and start the race" in the first two laps.

Frungy: I don't think you understand how firewalls and anti-viruses work.

I was there, the problem is the track not the rain, Sukuza is banked so rivers of runoff water tracks across the track and there is poor drainage so water built's up in certain areas, this corner being one of them.

Also no one wants to mention that the teams choose to be on intermediate tires rather than full wet tires so when the rain returned later in the race (which was very light!) and the run off started, cars were sliding all over the place. Race organizers demanded all teams start on full wet and the second they took that restriction off everyone changed to intermediate....

The race officials did nothing wrong in my opinion. People are took quick to blame, it was a accident, no one to point the finger at.

As for this entire debate.... well, Google and Apple can do what they like, because "there's an app for that!" ... there are already 3rd party apps to secure smartphones and other devices. They're called things like "anti-viruses" and "firewalls", but the net effect is the same, they prevent unauthorised access to your devices and limit what data it shares with others.

An anti virus or a firewall is not going to stop anything, maybe some kiddy malware, but you need to understand the issue. Currently the FBI can get the all data from any phone in the world anytime they want because they have the keys to get into your phone.
