    But yes i did leave Docomo out of the equation; They might have better signal, but when you arent using an iPhone, (at least in Tokyo) the difference is marginal and not worth the price difference in talk rates and internet plans (in my opinion)

    I'm sorry, vote me down if you want but Docomo's coverage and signal strength over softbank (iphone or not) doesn't compare, don't get me wrong I hate docomo as well, ask around everyone knows docomo has the best coverage. You're obviously just defending your purchase.

    @originalusername: I'm not talking about speed, I'm talking about getting a signal and dropoffs and my phone randomly "searching" for a signal... If you have never owned a Docomo phone you don't know how bad softbank's signal really is.

    @bentheredonthat: Soft signal! Excellent!

    We’re seeing more journalists who speak English but lack reporting skills

    The exact same goes for foreigners in Japan, so many times I've seen foreigners that speak Japanese and english perfectly but lack any business skill. They get the job on their perceived intelligence that they can speak x languages.

    Japan hates being told what to do, they will ignore it and 1 year later annouch it like they thought of it.

    Rights and equitable treatment of shareholder: Organizations should respect the rights of shareholders and help shareholders to exercise those rights. They can help shareholders exercise their rights by openly and effectively communicating information and by encouraging shareholders to participate in general meetings.

    Interests of other stakeholders: Organizations should recognize that they have legal, contractual, social, and market driven obligations to non-shareholder stakeholders, including employees, investors, creditors, suppliers, local communities, customers, and policy makers.

    Role and responsibilities of the board:The board needs sufficient relevant skills and understanding to review and challenge management performance. It also needs adequate size and appropriate levels of independence and commitment to fulfill its responsibilities and duties.

    Integrity and ethical behavior: Integrity should be a fundamental requirement in choosing corporate officers and board members. Organizations should develop a code of conduct for their directors and executives that promotes ethical and responsible decision making.

    Disclosure and transparency: Organizations should clarify and make publicly known the roles and responsibilities of board and management to provide stakeholders with a level of accountability. They should also implement procedures to independently verify and safeguard the integrity of the company's financial reporting. Disclosure of material matters concerning the organization should be timely and balanced to ensure that all investors have access to clear, factual information.

    @bentheredonthat: I wasn't referring to the departure, I was referring to the fact the company admitted they made a mistake in getting rid of the wrong person.

    I agree with out posters if Olympus thinks everything is okay now that this guy is kicked out they are wrong.... I hope the FBI truly investigates this, seems Japan inc. isn't doing anything about it and wants it also to go away... must be something alot of Japanese companies do if that is the case.
