It is completely dimwitted of Airbus. There is no business sense getting rid of a potential customer in a market that is dominated by Boeing. It only makes sense to cut them some slack and think long term because I'm sure Skymark's intentions are not malicious. They are also businessmen and should be able to understand the situation. Sounds like some people at Airbus have very big egos that got a big boost by kicking Skymark in the rear.

Her father got into some kind of trouble about 2 years ago (I forgot what), and everyone (including me) thought that this would be the end of her career. But it wasn't. I wonder about this time, but I don't want to predict anything.

At least next time use a guy in a Godzilla costume. The computer animation just doesn't have the right feel.

European countries did the same thing during their 400 year rampage around the world, called Imperialism. When will China and Korea press them to make an apology? Very double standard. (And yes, I know Korea had not been conquered by European countries directly).

@zirconium, Japanese people did not "vote him in". He is there because of a failed democracy in Japan. No reapportionment since 1945 in spite of a huge movement of people into the cities, so we are ruled by a minority of country bumbkins who elect the same politicians or their sons year after year. Country bumbkins will ruin Japan. But, when the first Japanese boy dies in some distant land in a US sponsored war, things will change fast. Abe and his like will be out.

But look how far Abe has retreated from his original positions. He has dropped talk about amending the constitution because he knows Japanese people, including me, would never allow it. Unfortunately, he will be reelected by his country bumbkin constituency again and again because Japan is not a democracy. There has been no reapportionment since the end of the war, in spite of a major population shift to the cities, where the LDP has no support. Japan will be ruined by the country bumbkins.

Japanese companies and their products have been too successful in China. That is why the Chinese government is implementing this anti-Japan strategy. And fortunately for China, Abe appeared.

There are too many second rate men in positions of influence. They all need to be replaced with first rate women. What is the name of that law that says you advance to your level of incompetence?

They will disappear like the Majong shops and pawn shops that used to be at every corner in Tokyo. I remember them when I was a kid in the 80s. You don't see them anymore. They aren't really needed.

In US bookstores, there is always a large shelf of MANGA translated into English. Why aren't these US comics translated into Japanese for sale here? Gay people should at least try to get this published.

Americans need to ask: what is it about the American life style that makes people want to use drugs? Is life in America do stultifyingly booring that they need drugs to make it through the day? Drugs are not the problem, it is the symptom of the problem: the vapid American culture.
