Typical Molenir response: You go look.

Like I said there were never any threats against Ann Coulter; if there were Molenir would supply the link to the source. He has been caught making up stuff so many times now he doesn't even mind being exposed anymore. He just makes something else up to cover up.

Molenir will never provide the links when he is confronted; he can't; they don't exist.

Contrast this with the Tea Party protests. They aren't forcing events to be canceled, they aren't trying to silence the opposition, using any means necessary.

The FBI are looking into the slashing of a propane gas line outside the home of Rep. Tom Perriello's brother. The brother's home address was posted online by a Tea Party activist. Lee Catlin

Rep. Louise Slaughter, D-New York, said her Niagara Falls district office had a brick thrown through one of its windows and a message that referred to "snipers" was left on one of her campaign offices

One House member mentioned a map on the Facebook page of former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin during a Wednesday meeting on safety concerns, a Democratic source said. The map shows 20 House Democratic political targets believed to be vulnerable in the upcoming midterm elections -- some have already announced their retirements. Their home districts are marked with cross hairs.

So, did you hear about Ann Coulter recently? She went to give a speech, and the 'peace and love' liberals were so enraged, that they threatened her, and her supporters with violence. Eventually the event had to be canceled.

Nobody threatened her. She canceled because of "security concerns." The truth is her supporters were vastly outnumbered by detractors and she could not handle it. Molenir, show us a link to where she was threatened. IT NEVER HAPPENED!

"Some of the students were protesting remarks Coulter has made about Muslims. First, she told a gathering that Muslims shouldn't be allowed on airplanes, and should take "flying carpets" instead. On Monday, when a 17-year-old Muslim student told Coulter she didn't have a flying carpet, Coulter told her to "take a camel,""

Obama is truly a Commander-In-Chief the whole nation can be proud of. What a guy to take on the mess of Afghanistan and not shirk his responsibilities. I also have emphasized that we needed more troops in Afghanistan and that we needed zero troops initially in Iraq. This war could have either been won or in the final stages of reconstruction and reconciliation with the factions.

The rally was a festival of all things conservative, as well as a political call-to-arms. Protesters dressed as Colonial soldiers with three-corner hats and marched through the crowd beating drums. There were Ronald Reagan masks, plenty of camouflage, and American flags fashioned into every manner of dress.

Most of the citizens of Searchlight just thought it was a gay parade!

There never was a bill or amendment that "approved government subsidized viagra to sex offenders" so how could anyone or any political party support it?

You can't support something that never existed.

    I am only my body.

My mind uses a survival tool to turn my conciousness into an illusion of what some call a soul, others call a spirit and others have countless other references and descriptions. I do not deny that I feel like I have a "self." I simply deny that a self is anything more than my body and predominantly my brain. Others will argue the brain vs. mind using various thesis's. Again, I am not saying I don't feel like I have a self but if my finger is burned by fire the pain appears to be in my finger when we clearly know that it is not. The pain is in your brain. It is a survival tool to create the illusion that the pain is in your finger. The recoil response time is much greater due to an illusion.

Now I know that my viewpoint is the least acceptable there is. I know that a person can dispute an afterlife and accept evolution and still believe in a self, soul, spirit or what have you.

I believe the brain is a miracle. To use a collection of memories and a supporting sub-conscious system to create such an illusion that poets can speak of our souls so clearly is a feat of nature.

So even though I do not believe I am anything beyond the bounds of what one can see when facing me, I do believe that within those boundaries of my body containing my brain there are limitless possibilities.

I don't expect to change one single person's mind. I just wanted to say that someone thinks the odd thoughts I think and believes them.

RR posted a quote of my comment but said nothing to refute it. RR still hasn't posted a source of a quotation he used earlier. So I will move on.

I wish the tour "which kicks off a 42-city bus tour that ends in Washington on April 15, tax day" were 420 cities by November. Also, be sure to bring your socialist signs and guns to every rally. The more we see of Sarah Palin the better, there may be one exception and that is McCain but the Tea Party was going after McCain for his "liberal views." If they lay off John via Sarah's orders he may win the primary. Other than that if the Tea Party and Sarah tour the country and yell socialism as much as they possibly can it will have an aggregate value of turning off many American voters.

I have said before that I expect to lose 25 seats or so in the House. That is average and is just historical politics. Actually, the voters usually don't turn out well for the party of the president; over the past 17 midterm elections, the president's party has lost an average 28 seats in the House, and an average 4 seats in the Senate.

I would be o.k. with a loss of 30 because that is just above average. If the Republicans win 40 or more seats then the victory will clearly be theirs. Of course if the 4 current vacancies are filled during the next election then the Dems can only afford to lose 35 seats.

I am betting that if the Tea Party stands up and yells a lot more after April 15 that we will not lose the house. So stand up and YELL!

Good of you to acknowledge the democrats are the party of America's wealthy -- or, team richie rich.

Hey Capitalism rocks! There goes your argument on socialism. It was so dumb to begin with. Sarah Palin began using it in the campaign. Just think of all those free market capitalists who voted for Obama.

Branded, where did you learn math from? President Bush's school of fuzzy math. 12 x $250 = $3,000 not $2,500 as you stated. Your logic and reasoning are just like your math.

Common sense sometimes trumps education in situations like this and things should be understandable -that is the problem with ObamaCare --> nobody understood it and in fact Congress didn't even consider reading it (a common person would question that = tax payers are upset)

Plenty of it is easy enough for me to understand. It provides new investment in training programs to increase the number of primary doctors, nurses, and public health professionals. It bans lifetime limits on insurance policies. It provides coverage to students up until their 27th birthday. These are now effective. In the future insurance companies will not be able to deny coverage for a preexisting condition and will not be able to boot someone off coverage for the expensive conditions when they are realized.

I can go on an on.

The funniest thing that the Republicans constantly bring up is that the Democrats are ruining 1/6 of our economy. How stupid is that? If it cost less for good health care (1/3 or more in some cases per country) that is a very good thing. I applaud Great Brittan, Canada and Japan for their stellar health care systems.

The original link that sailwind provided referred to a CNN poll:

    http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/02/17/rel4b.pdf

"Tea Party activists" included any respondent that merely attended a rally (along with those who "took active steps to support" and "given money." So if you attended a rally out of curiosity you were included. Most interesting is that there were a total of 124 people making up the results.

124 people is a very small sample size for national statistics. Furthermore only 40% were college graduates. So you have to believe they were telling the truth and you have to believe that 124 people (who had phones) represent the totality of actual Tea Party Activists.

    Where is this statistic from?

"Traffic on a highway leading into the town was backed up more than two miles Saturday afternoon as people gathered for the rally, which kicks off a 42-city bus tour that ends in Washington on April 15, tax day."

Is there a place on each buss where the knuckle-draggers can put their guns and other weapons so they will have them ready if need be?
