wouldn't this example suggest more that this has to do with the cultural expectations placed on women, rather than anything else? you could say that their rather... promiscuous behaviour is just the genie getting let out of the bottle after an obviously prolonged period...

i often think that the "healthy" stereotype of japanese food is purely based on that fact that it is low fact in comparison with western diets. on the other hand it's clearly much higher in sodium....

that's what they said about the imac/ipod/iphone... i wouldn't count those chickens... i think a lot of people think that they expect this to be as big as the iphone. not going to happen, and they know it. it's definitely a more niche product
