Obama is appointing a bunch of foxes to look over the henhouse.

This is change we can believe in - if we're insane. Or did he say, "Chains we can believe in"? (good listening exercise for your next class).

He is currently assembling the same team that caused the crash.

Obama's team/cabinet will be made of various people from various backgrounds with various political views, as some of the latest rumor mills/speculation/news articles have surmised - ie: Colin Powell, the supercilious John Kerry, Chuck Hagel, Janet Napolitano, the senile John McCain, Robert Kennedy Jr, Richard Lugar, Bill Richardson and yes, even my choice for president, Ron Paul.

Rahm may be effective if he can harness is partisan nature. One thing for sure is there will be no leaks from the White House!!! Also, no backstabbing because with Rahm, it's in your face, not your back.

    He's learning Hebrew, too.

After appearing before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee yesterday, the Washington Post called his performance "the full monty".

Iran has more to fear now than ever before.

How in the world did Rahm-bo make $18 million in only 2-1/2 years as an investment banker? It is miraculous. Don't suppose he used his political connections.

Anyway, he's Obama's puppetmaster ala Bush's Cheney. Say goodbye to bipartisanship. How can we trust this man who fought for a foreign army and whose father blew up buildings and killed hundreds of innocent people?

Rumor has it GATES and CHERTOFF will be asked to stay on.

There's some change we can believe in.

Whoops! Phildelphia won, but, back then, they were the Athletics, not the Phillies.

The same thing happened in 1929 when the Phillies won the World Series.

The missus bought a copy of Billy's Boot Camp, gave it the boot after about 2 weeks because it was too hard, the boys also gave it a try and declared it too easy. Had a go myself, but these old bones (and numerous old injuries) quickly put a stop to my efforts.

It is really hard, but don't give up. Work on it progressively. Do 5 minutes only at first. Then add 2-3 minutes each time you do it. You'll be able to finish it in about 4-6 months.

Actually, I'd recommend the Abs Diet I and II workout if Billy's is too hard. That one is cheaper and better in my opinion. Three levels, 15 minutes each. You don't have to use those bands either.

Of course, there is so much good free stuff on Youtube. It's amazing that people spend money on anything fitness related. We need to return to the days when the outdoors was our gym.

Just out of interest, does anybody know the most one-sided result in history?

Yeah, 1984 when Walter Mondale won only his home state of Minnesota and the District of Columbia.

1936: FDR 523, Alf Landon 8 (Maine and Vermont). They had a lot of electoral votes for some reason back then.

When a drunk dies, should we feel sad?

Well, as a non-drinker who hates drunks, I don't feel too bad about this. Hope they catch the driver, too, and put him/her away.

Click on the above and you'll see a guy who's really in love ... with himself.

It's a picture of Obama with his paternal grandma and he's hugging her. Check it out.

Bad news for Obama: it's raining - always good for Republicans. Low-income people like Obama's aunt hate standing in the rain waiting hours to vote.

    My prediction: Obama 310 - McClain 228.

It doesn't really matter. They both represent the plutocracy. Anyone who votes is wasting their time, unless they are able to pick up a nice babe standing in line.

Yes, but it should be taught with a heavy dose of euphemisms:

"When there is a fire in the oven, the fireman takes out his hose..." etc.

helloklitty: Longoria was a rookie, right, so he probably didn't get more than $390,000. You call that "the big bucks"? Wrong. Didn't you hear about the 17.5 million dollar, six-year contract he signed in April of this year? He's guaranteed $500,000 dollars this year, which will incrementally rise over the following years. Thus, he would average approximately 2.9 million a year. So yes, I'd call that big bucks. I don't know about you, but I'd be happy to get paid that much.

He is getting less than the league average: $3.1 million. (research time: 8 seconds)

He's getting the less-than-average bucks even with the extension. Needs a better agent.

P.S. "rise incrementally over the years" is redundant.

You say you'd be happy with the salary, but would you be happy to put in the training required to become a professional baseball player? I know there are some accountants, pilots and construction workers out there who could become pros if they were willing to do the physical training required. But would you really be happy to spend hours in the batting cage, more hours running and lifting weights. Watching film. Just think, once you've made it, you have to live with a bunch of animals for 8 months of the year.

When crossing a road and a car is coming, it's a good idea to make eye contact with the driver. If you can't, get out of the way. Drivers don't always do what their supposed to do. You have to assume they are drunk idiots.

whoever is elected better shrink the government and let the people who know how to create jobs, the rich, do their thing ... something tells me that Obama just does not get this simple point ... watch him brag about new (sh##ty) jobs being created, though in 1-3 years ... Asia will no longer be investing in America at that point - they will keep their money in Asia and trade among each other for the most part because you can't do business with people who don't have (real) money
