Here's some material for Palin's next speech:
What's the difference between a "community organizer" and a seeing-eye dog? Even a blind man can see the dog is actually helping someone.
What's the difference between a "community organizer" and a Chihuahua? The Chuhuahua will eventually shut up.
What's the difference between a "community organizer" and a pit bull? Teeth.
What's the difference between a "community organizer" and a puppy? One will grow up to become a loyal servant of mankind.
What's the difference between a "community organizer" and a shihtzu? Zu.

Yeah, I hear they're closing down the internet during the presidential election.
Moore believes there is no terrorist threat (p. 95 of "Dude") and that Nixon was the last liberal president (p. 193). In Stupid White Men, he said that Florida was stolen from Gore because felons were barred from voting. In "Bowling" he altered history, misled his viewers and edited the footage and audio to reverse the meaning. He puts statements in all different order. He's not even from Flint. Great Oscar speech by the way. He claims they weren't saying "Booooo". Right, they were saying "booooooobs" cuz he's got 'em. In "un-Fahrenheit 9-11" he uses a Bush speech from 2001 and makes it seem to be occurring in 2003 and 2004. The list goes on and on.
Moore's positive point: brilliant propagandist - creates his false impressions indirectly. Always has the out of: "I never said that."
Who else do you respect? Hitler, Hussein, Li'l Kim, Castro?

Why even talk about these meaningless single-elimination tournaments (Olympics/World Baseball Classic)? We'll find out who the best baseball-playing country is when the International Baseball League gets started (in about 5-7 years).

Amazing that he's "won" so many games when he's been taken out of the game about an hour before the finish due to his poor control resulting in a tired arm.

He is a bit of an inspiration for drug users. You can recover and go on to do great things.
He's a felon? He doesn't seem dangerous for some reason. He wasn't selling drugs, was he? Just a user, right? I suppose that's not so good as he keeps dealers in business, but still... not a bad guy, really.
I've been waiting forever for "Iron Man" too. Thank god it's finally here.
I can just imagine what he would be like at a party. The guy is so funny. You have to watch him in interviews. They are better than his movies. This one with Val Kilmer is worth a look:

Lieberman would have been the correct choice, but his voting record on abortion rights made him unpalatable in "religious" America. How many skeletons does Palin have in her closet? McCain can always change his mind. Look what McGovern did back in '72.

I love these opportunities to teach them. One future inmate thought it would be funny to flip me off. I made a beeline to his chair the instant he did it. Then I flipped him off and stood in front of him for about 30 seconds which probably felt like 30 years to him.
Remeber, the bullies are cowards. It's a fact, Jack. Get in their faces. Calling you names, means they get to feel very uncomfortable and intimidated. Keep yourself in good shape, too, just in case they force you to defend yourself.

Against it. Not likely to be effective. I wouldn't want to be the person in charge of the swatting. I'd wear a black hood to disguise myself if I had to mete out the punishment. That and maybe some cheekless black leather pants as well. The screams would be too heartbreaking to listen to so I'd have to insert a red ball into the victim's mouth and fasten it with a leather strap. Obviously, the victim would need to be restrained somehow. Not sure about how to do that - unless the police will lend me a pair of handcuffs.

Two year olds will just walk away without announcing their destination. I don't blame the parents although many hypocrites will. Just wait till it happens to you.

After Ichiro picked up his 3000th hit (including NPB), I pointed out that MLBers should also be able to count their minor-league hits towards their hit totals in the majors. These Olympics prove the low-level of Japanese baseball. It's about the same as AAA or less.

Hallelujah.
As a former altar boy, I can say, basically, making people feel guilty for living.
It's better than having sex with a 17-year-old boy. You get more pleasure and you don't have to worry about him bragging to the whole school.
How did they get caught is what I'd like to know. Don't the cops have anything better to do?

Hyperbole.
Perhaps you could give some examples of the incomprehensible English which is taught. I find the texts to be just fine. Lots have pairwork activities, but the "poor" kids just simply won't try to do them. If they did, they could develop a basic competency on which to build from.
