But Sarge I was drunk so this one doesn't count. So, can I have my gun back?

Why does it seem like Japanese companies prefer to spend billions on fixing problems instead of thousands to prevent them? My previous employer was like that. I would bring up a potential problem which would take half a day to fix. He yells at me ans says "stop wasting money and time and do your job!" Two days later we're working late for two weeks to fix the problem.

titaniumdioxide: why don't you go to Fukushima with a sign with the exact words and stand in front of the hospital treating all the children with thyroid cancer, then march to the temp housing area where thousands of people have been living in housing that is falling apart. Finally off to the fishing villages where people have lost their lively hood because the Pacific Ocean is too polluted to fish in. If all goes well, I'm on your side.

These things are more dangerous than safe. Left lane on highways are blocked so the police can hand out flyers to motorcyclist, causing unexpected merging into center lane. Oh the number of near misses and scratched paint. Not to mention the traffic jams it causes. I really wonder about the people who come up with these stupid ideas. Perhaps they should do their job everyday of the year instead of just one week a year. Love the old people sitting I the tents drinking tea all day. They are nice people to talk to.

Hats off to the centenarians but as Japanese Governments loves to boost about itself I wonder how many are actually alive being that the law doesn't require physical contact with a person collecting a pension.

Um, excuse me but fathers are worried about their children too. Let's stop making it all about the women and mothers and start making it about what is best for the future of Japan and the children of today who will be leading it.

Geoff, I have to agree with the law. If someone you have never met started taking pictures of you for no particular reason, wouldn't you feel a bit uneasy? How does the person plan to use YOUR photo? Identity theft? Frame your for something? Who knows? It's just creepy!

So when will we see article title "Abe names 5 men to new cabinet."? They shouldn't need to be highlighting gender. I only need to see their qualifications.

Prices already went up more than 10% the last time he raised consumption tax 3%! How does he expect people to enjoy life! I see visitors are having fun.

As the shelf life for these tablets is 6 to 7 years, can we assume the government will continue to supply the public forever and will new comers be given them in a "Welcome to the neighbourhood." kit? http://www.nrc.gov/about-nrc/emerg-preparedness/about-emerg-preparedness/potassium-iodide/ki-faq.html

Don't give up. Video game addiction is not much different for cigarettes or alcohol. People have been able to quit with the help of others. Be more aggressive. Take him away from his game. Go out on a date. No games. No IT on hiking trips. If you really want something you can do it.

Why is everyone so quick to blame cars and drivers. The story doesn't offer enough info, like was it a highway or a narrow side street, was the 7 years old accompanied by an adult, if not why, was the driver speeding, did he go through a red light or fail to stop at a stop sign, etc. I have seen so many posts by JT readers about how reckless, pedestrians are. I am most confident that the driver is most saddened by killing a child. Yes, he made a terrible mistake and should have been more careful. I'm should it'll eat him up inside for the rest of his life. We can say should've, could've, would've all day but in the end a child is dead. To parents, teach your children to be more careful outside. There are too many time where I have to slam on my brakes because some kid, even mothers on bikes, just dart out from a corner. And Japan has lots of them. Educate people, educate!!!

As sick as it is, I gotta say crime in Japan really isn't all that bad. I read my home town paper and people are getting robbed, raped, beat and killed. I'll take stolen uniforms over a death in the family any day.

He meant, "He really hoped she could marry soon."? Almost a week of hiding and thinking and that's the best he can do? I guess politicians are loosing their ability to come up with new "they misunderstood me" excuses.
