Much ado about nothing as usual. A few swollen rivers and no doubt someone died a very preventable death. Yet somehow the typhoon is described by hack writers as having "slammed" into the country instead of lazily meandered through. And the usual posters warn everyone to prepare for Armageddon when the only threat to those with common sense is forgetting your umbrella at home.

DentShop- couldnt agree with you more. People afraid of their own shadow jabbering on about a little rain and actually trimming wicks on oil lamps. (when was the last time in the history of man did anyone actually use an oil lamp in an emergency? I'm guessing 1927)

@globalfreezing You illustrate my fist post on this issue very nicely. Thank you! Arguing with the likes of conspiracy theorists is not worth my time, so this will be my last post on this thread. I'll leave you with one final thought. Not one of you would have the guts to make your embarrassing accusations in a public place using your own identity. Thats why the internet and its anonymity is your only forum.

Oracle - Your posts on this matter suggest a vast conspiracy by what must be hundreds, if not thousands, of high-level Americans to kill their own countrymen in cold blood (for reasons you haven't explained). Where is your proof?

Ive said this before and Ill say it again. I almost feel sorry for the conspiracy theorists because of their inability to deal properly with trauma. I remember watching 9/11 unfold on television with 2 friends. One left the room after about 10 minutes, angry at us for continuing to watch. I'm sure he's out there somewhere today claiming its all a conspiracy.

Breitbart just hit the consp. theorists where it hurts; fact-checking. And once again, the facts turn up a mentally unstable, self-loathing (gave himself an "F" for his performance in the senate), depressed, twice-divorced alcoholic as their savior. Ouch...

BessonovYan- I had no idea Bin Laden was gay! That might explain how he could be a Hollywood actor! Maybe 9/11 WAS a conspiracy!!

9/11 con. theorists are the same type of losers who don't believe in the moon landings. Every one I've met in the flesh has been ignorant and/or the anti-social type who desperately wants to imagine themselves smarter than everyone else. Brietbart said it best.

@Tony Berry Obviously you didn't read my posts or if so, completely lost the gist of them. And how pompous of you to think that Kawashima somehow cared more about the devastation in Tohoku more than anyone else. You ignored my point that it's utterly juvenile for a grown man to cry when being teased.

I disagree. Eiji expressed an emotional reaction by many Japanese boys who've grown up treated as "Little Emperors" by their coddling mothers.
Nope. Eiji displayed his lack of maturity

LFRAgain - I haven't read one post that justifies or rationalizes what was chanted. You just wasted all that great indignation..

papasmurf - You seem to have a sore spot for Lexus for some reason. If you want to call me a "fanboy" simply for correcting sfjp330's very incorrect post about the quality of the car, go ahead. Fact is, I have only a passing interest in them.

digiridoo, southsakai - so that's your answer to being teased? Cry, then quit? As tasteless as the chants were, thats European soccer so he'd better learn to live with it. If you want to see how things should be dealt with, read about the garbage Jackie Robinson had to endure from both opposing fans and players alike. He took the high road and let his talent on the ballfield do the talking.

Oracle - he's not a doctor, and never was. By the way, no bitterness was dragged into this thread. It reared it's ugly head when I saw you trying to give life lessons through episodes of situation comedies.

Oracle - I thought this guy was not just a fraud but a scumbag, that is until you shed light on the situation with an episode of MAS*H. Now I realize he's a good Samaritan because Hawkeye Pierce thought so.

Lexus is consistently at or near the top in customer satisfaction polls, and according to Wiki, is responsible for a disproportionate share of Toyota's earnings. Perhaps a few posters here are talking out of their a**es.
