Hes a good person for deciding to take responsibility for his actions

Jared Norman - after 17 years on the run and making sure the statute of limitations has run out. Yeah, a really great guy.

Did anybody really expect anything new here? Japanese (leaders, at least) are simply unable to deal with crisis. Rolling with the punches, individuals taking leadership, making quick, hard decisions are not in the DNA.

lostrune - A big guess would be that Poulter et al were on the bubble BEFORE their last tournament. Holy crow....

I see that my view is not popular, but to me, not to offer condolences to someone who is grieving is small- minded and petty.

Farmboy - So sensitive. Brought a tear to my eye..But why don't you go to NK and find out just how many people are really shedding a tear for the Psychopath and get back to me.

If your Uncle Godfrey dies, and you never liked your uncle, you still offer condolences to your aunt. It's polite. She might actually miss the old geezer.

Farmboy - You don't offer condolences if your Uncle Godfrey killed thousands if not millions of his countrymen.

lostrune - The story refers to 11 golfers who were on the bubble. The other 39 were already confirmed as qualified.

lostrune - wrong. The top 50 are automatically qualified.

Less than 14 months for the life of every child. I've said it before but some of the most vile characters in this country are truck drivers. Many of them are total scumbags with no regard to life or safety.

Not the same thing. One is a family dispute the other is foregn government spay activity and kidnapping of total strangers

Ossan - its the same thing. Both illegal in any International Court and both sanctioned by the governments of Japan and North Korea.

How ironic that this comes at the same time Japan will be bleating on about the handful of Japanese abducted to NK

so much BS here I don't know where to start. First, she lies about being pregnant and a week later does a 180. Now she preggers and will become a poster child for all the boneheads out there who want the attention seeking pregnancy with absolutely no plan what to do with a kid after the attention dies down.

How many times have I met foreigners who had a beer with a Yak, enjoyed the talk, and declared them "Stand-up guys", all the while ignoring the sadistic things they do to make a buck.

agree with Browny. The Yakuza as Robin Hood myth may have had a kernal of truth decades ago, but they are in the business of loan sharking and intimidation of businesses from mom and pop stores to the likes of Olympus. They wouldnt be involved in Fukushima unless they were making a buck. God knows, as Suzuki points out, they aren't helping themselves.

Once again, too much negativity on this forum from short-sighted foreigners with nothing but short term memories of Japan

Theresident - more sad self-hating japanophilia.

There has to be a way to mix something in the water for cooling that can gel withing the cracks. Something like silly putty or even play dough. I use florescent play dough for fishing and it works great. Unbelievable actually. People have to start thinking out of the box

.If I didn't read it, I wouldn't have believed it. Silly putty.

This is why black kids fail so much in school. Looking up to people that cannot sing, but use crappy language in bad poetic syntax, is no way to start off life. Rappers are worse than Japanese talento.

Nice to start off the morning with some thinly-veiled racism and sterotyping.

Haraguchi pinned Okamoto down after chasing him for two minutes and catching him, according to media reports.

You'd think that one of the two would end an embarrassing chase after a few seconds of running around like that. Little boys.

The only guys I have a problem is are the chinpira and gyarus that come for the fashion parade on their boards and keep on sitting in the middle of the slope and entering the difficult slopes and becoming live obstacles

a real pet peeve of mine. I hope to impale some of these posers with my board in the next few months.
