It's pretty shocking to see the differences in how Germany and Japan have schooled the younger generations about the war. Germans are educated about their country's guilt so that it won't happen again. Japanese textbooks are so ambiguous that I've been told by more than one young Japanese they thought they fought on the side of the Americans against Hitler!

Canucker, I haven't imposed my "personal morality" on anything. The only thing I did impose was my personal experience in this country as to the Old Boys Network in Judo circles and their childish behavior around women. Then I used my power of deduction knowing that this scumbag made sure a compliant 19 year-old (a student in his charge, mind you) got nicely drunk. Its called putting two and two together.

Way to go Japan. 9 months ago they were showered with International goodwill and an outpouring of donations from around the world. Thats largely gone now thanks to the same old tired men (and I use that term loosely) who run this country.
