Ever notice young bikers wearing nazi style helmets? Japan is full of people copying what they perceive as cool and hip. Not surprised that Don Quijote would sell such merchandise given the mindset in Japan.

Just 2 years ago Obama came into office with the mantra of change and now again change the course is the public vote as Republicans take the House and win more governorships. Should be an interesting next 2 years!

Bush got slammed during midterms and so does Obama now. Huge loss for Democrats in house. Also Republicans gain in governorships. If there is little compromise in new year, stalemate is the word. There is growing frustration with both parties in US and thats why incumbents are packing their bags.

Not being a rabid fan as others on our planet, some games were entertaining. Some poor calls were ugly. Still seems too long as a tournament. Good to see S Africa doing a good job as host.
Posted in: How would you rate the World Cup in terms of entertainment, quality of games and referee standards?

The quality has been questionable. Such a statement from FIFA is basically trying to protect the refereeing system which is already protected too much.

Forever 21 is part of the mobile style fashion of the day. Certainly the high fashion brands still have their status but the mobility of these new stores is interesting. Not bad quality either.

Shaun boards consistently at high levels during the big shows. A big congrats! Japanese boarders need more time and maturity. Too bad about the fall for Kokubo. Those things happen.
