Ironic that the TV business is so strong in Asia where to be honest is probably home to some of the worst TV shows and standards of TV. Thankfully we don't have a TV and find these TV wars absurd - if all the time research and energy was put into developing 'useful' technology such as better solar etc the world would be a far better place...

What was all this talk about global warming? All this snow proves its just a lie well, the sever cold weather in Europe is being caused in part by the lack of sea ice cover in the arctic - a result of global warming. It seems people still need to be more aware of what is going on around them - then there would be less people saying "more sonw! global warming can't be true"

Those poor people in Tohoku. In future my donations are going to hopeandwood.org Never the Japan Red Cross again. - good decision. But more difficult to stop our taxes going towards this yearly whaling fiasco

How about cutting the consumption tax 1%? That would do me and the economy some good. well how about an INCREASE in consumption tax? - by lowering consumption would be better than any so-called eco-point system or eco tax

Where's my tax break for my Hilux Surf that's been running carbon neutral for the past 5 years on recycled WVO (waste vegetable oil)? "Eco points?" - as mentioned above - should be renamed "consumption points".

GREENWASH!! Eco-friendly imagery on an eco-devistating product. When many western countries and cities are having back to the tap campaigns as they become more aware of the crassness of buying water transported around the globe in bottles, Japan is following way behind and following the bottled water culture.

Says a lot about genuine eco awareness and active support in Japan if this is the 'best' eco products site in Japan. Check out 'PeopleTree Japan' - Still relatively limited, but much more grassroots and well-established than 'Green Japan'
