Obviously. You're just oblivious to the world around you.

What ever happened to pulling the two parties involved apart from each other and slapping on the cuffs? The police are getting lazy these days, taser first and ask questions later.
I suppose this will be WITH pay? Someone ought to taser this officer a few times. I bet he would never use the thing again.

This makes sense. With millions unemployed and nobody taking applications, people have nothing to do except play video games. The only bad part is that they're probably using their federal unemployment checks to buy the games and systems.

I agree with Yelnats. Go out to the Japanese places -- improve your Japanese language ability -- and make friends. That's how I learned most of my Japanese. I've been here 7 years and have yet to go to a 'foreign' club.

So, now we take the word of a convicted (but pardoned) terrorist? Must be friends with Hatoyama! It seems to me that the Japanese have very selective hearing. If it benefits their argument, they believe it. If it goes against what they believe, it's all BS.

Heaven forbid that people have to travel any distance to get to a supermarket. People who live in rural Australia and the U.S. have no choice but to drive 30+ km to the nearest grocery store.
That would be one reason NOT to buy the condo... too much traffic in the area.
Go ahead.... they'll laugh your selfish rear-end out of the courtoom!!

I've been in Fukuoka for 7 years now.... it's so neat to walk through the back streets and see some of the homes from 40-50 years ago sitting next to 10-story 'mansions'. The people in Fukuoka are also great. They'll bend over backwards to help you.

All of the third-year junior high students in the area where I live are REQUIRED to get the flu vaccination because exam season is right in the middle of flu season. We just had our 'ippan' exam yesterday - at least 30 kids were in a separate room because they had the flu. I can understand some of the worries that parents have.

SezWho2,
Illinos does not have a direct democracy, where voters can make and repeal laws, as well as recall elected officials. The Illinois legislature took this issue up in April last year, with the House passing a bill, but running into trouble in the Senate. Only 24 states have the ability to recall elected officials.
