And most that beach is the same. Exceptions are the river mouths, and especially where the boats are coming in. Whether this is accidental or whatnot, the lack of lifesavers is very obvious. The private land formed some sort of safety net, but now that it has become public land, there is less safety for the water area, and more people. Can we please get off the who can swim and swimming techniques conversation. It is pointless. Burakmindes, I would suggest even just checking the average times for kids(squad) swimming events. They are every month. Check the numbers of how many are actually swimming AND doing those times. And please I know that swimming in a pool is different to the beach. This does not need to be implemented in the school system, obviously not all schools have the same geopgraphics.

This guy really shouldnt have said anything if he couldnt keep his temper. Having said that, I think these type of rules suck. I also think realistically speaking, that people are bound to become physically abusive, when there is a overload on verbal abuse.

How many times a week did you go the pool? Not much I bet. What time? Several pools was it? Crap. There are good swimmers here. Drown champion adult surf-swimmers, partner, would seem the rumours of that area get the better of themselves? As for barring all kids up to 16? You have got to be Australian? Just dictate the situation.

So what do you know Kyoko? Reiterating floating techniques for the beachline is gonna get ya a mouth full of water. How about teaching that there is a rhythm to the waves and it is better to go under a broken wave. That is most likely where the incident occurred. The sand bank. It seems like it is deep and the waves curl up and break; for a 6th grader, scary, and an old lady, who probably doesnt know much about ocean safety either (how local was she?), you can swallow a lot of water.

Nessie where does it say deep water? The one thing with Kujukuri is will often have a sand bank. If the tides are high and you are close to the river mouths it is also dangerous. Emphasis where by the way? You implementing ocean safety in the education system there now? People panic when drowning, even while they are being saved; a lifesaver, some jobs for real people and not just some red cloth. WHile you are at it add in some boards and better public toilets. Cough up the cash there.

Im also certain that they dont open their beaches, with flags AND lifesavers as much as people are bathing/swimming there.

Personally to me Kujukuri isnt that dangerous a beach. The depth is gradual, waves are fuller, rips run along the beach. A beach break.I have no idea what unsupervised beach means? Unsupervised kids would be my motion. Ive seen too much complacency of parents on the beaches of recent. Especially when you arent local to the area, and try to have kids at the same level of adaption as local kids. Perhaps having the season of swimming longer, whereby the beach is open is what is really needed, at this point in time. Who can close a beach anyway? But government funds providing lifesavers year round-yes year round, when the govt stepped in and chose to be obliging to(some of) the people- seeing that the government pulled all the beach houses down only to take the parking fees for themselves, only seems the fair thing?

ps. im wondering bout the in the past point. perhaps the choices were less. perhaps the choice was lifestyle led as well. like an art. i think that there were more medically unaided births, and thus what would seem high fatality, but i disagree with this. im curious too why choose not to breastfeed. the only thing i can think of is its not the most easiest thing to accomplish in most places. you need somewhere to sit perhaps. and hey im all for sunbaking topless but not really into it with a baby in the picture as well, at a public beach. but if i have my own lifestyle whereby it is family, im sure walking around breastfeeding is on the plate. if theres visitors i have a room, or i dont have visitors etcetcetc breastfeeding is such a personal experience. sometimes im inclined to go pick up some publicly feeding mothers boobs japanese nursing style, just to say i am willing to feed this child too. its not that i wouldnt feed my child if it was hungry, i just like being discreet, and would at least try and sit off to the corner or something rather than at the middle of costco! wow.

You raffians to speak such! All the foreigners except the one's here perhaps. I wonder if hypnotizing is like imagery? In some places chiropractical work can be referred to as alligning, and so on. I think the midwifery, or rather doula work can be hard to track down depending on the area, and political stance of the area towards birthing. I was once told that a lady up on the corner used to do deliveries. Upon enquiring, it could be learned that she died.

Help? How much are the bow and arrow worth in monetary value? Maybe it was a toy? Those things can be varied, yk. Down under they are obesessively worried about safety, it must have been a toy. The faith of the young counries leads to the bigger ones being manipulative doesnt it? Leaving him high and dry in Japan isnt very nice.

Perhaps the confusion is where the words gender equality and secular are used together. Secular definitely doesnt mean gender equality. Maybe the French see the male and female as equal? And if that is the case, it surely is a small amount of people arguing for women's rights.

I think the Pope's comments show his observance. His commitment to protecting children, and the warning about putting aside y/our faith in this religion, are more than the promise they can be preceived to be. I think Grech's comment was directed and realistic.

manfromamerica, whered you come from!
When did I suggest there was no effect? Who says it is your right to tell me what affects I can do to my body? And who says you know how tobacco effects, my body? These are reasons I would not have government intervention about tobacco. Somebody asked me to proove the point of quitting smoking. Thats pretty funny too, Id think you would know that there is such cases. I can even have a smoke with a friend and not be tempted to have another after that! It is all in the attitude to the tobacco, which if only could be grown without authorities breathing down your neck, and the monsters who say the plant is evil, maybe a balance could be found. And Im really sick of hearing the last word be about, what about the kids. I dont judge those vitamins you there feed your kids, or the crap you call food, or, let's see the controlled air-conditioned environment, or the other tonne of things that have cause and effect/affect on us throughtout a day. And if you want to talk about smoke, go camping! This too leads to authority control, and I can tell ya thered be no way Id hand my kids over to anybody who had such authoritarian type attitudes. You bring up your kids, and Ill bring up mine. And our kids will meet at the undokai.

I never thought I was addicted, who suggested it is an addiction? I always liked smoking. Enjoy it. Can stop at my own will. And sorry dolphingirl as I mentioned earlier I dont agree with the health hazard attitude. People keep throwing up cases where they think that the only cause was tobacco is ridiculous. For every suggested case, I can think of another case whereby somebody has smoked, or been in passive smoking circumstances, and they have not been affected. I think there is denial of more underlying problems that cause medical concerns, but tobacco is the convenient blame. The suggestion that what we think, influences our bodies health, I believe is a greater contributor to health hazards; and while the suggestion made by non-smokers is so monster-like, I think it would be hard for a lot of smokers to admit that the monsters accusations are what cause the problems more than the actual tobacco.
