Well I hope they use some of that money to tap into the water in the Amazon. There is so much space over there maybe the refugees should head there-Europe is rascist and got no money now, Australia is so dry it's too hard. Lush green Amazon!

What is it with all these unions at the moment-Australia had the aeroplane company, the nurses and the police recently. See I can understand unions for mines-cause of the danger of the work and safety required. But unions for anything else? Besides a fair working rate, like retail outlets, what else is there? Why do they even dally in pensions and so on? And besides why does making pension age higher be a problem-whats everybody into growing old quickly or something? Have I missed something? Whats wrong with Cuba then Mexican?

I dont get it-I thouht things were all smooth recently-why is Putin saying something about America all of a sudden. I mean when you point fingers like that, AMerica either has to ignore it and let it be believed, or say something. What can you say really? 1) It's not true 2) Yous are bad so its true........Not much wiggle space hey; if you say 2 then you sound bad anyway........okay Michael Jacksons-whose bad- just sang in my head. Why does Putin even make this statement? Like because there is some foreign people who have connections in Russia-so like Russian people who would be foreign like and against Putin? Yepp, no sense, leave it to Russia to handle. Let them call other Russians foreign if they wish, its all foreign to me.

And it is true, the doctors could not possibly say that the baby was defected with a hundred percent surety.

The woman, I tend to think was more listening to what she would think were experts in the situation, the doctors. Yes, she should realize that what she was doing was murder, but the tune that is being playd wthin Australia would make that very hard to be heard. So that is why I question the doctors, and how could they possibly know for sure that the baby was ill. ANd then surely in their capability they would tend to offer the way of life, like techall suggests. Doctors are afterall a job that tries to save lives, right. Right you would think.(Especially if youre AUstralian)

American cars are so much more family friendly. I never see them much out in my part of the bush. Perhaps it is only Tokyo-ites who can grasp the language to find and import them. There is one car yard that has American cars but theyve been so tuned and vamped the price is beyond my pocket. And you know local dealers in these part of the sticks arent likey to know enough english to get one that is my range of price. Mind I wonder how much the second hand cars are not allowed on the roads? Like doesnt age of the car create a lot of unneccessary overheads-even for Japanese cars. I like the old German Volkswagon for when I become a granma, but now with kids, and not in Tokyo, a American sturdy car please! And for all those talking about size not comparable with the roads here; you just never get out of the city-Man you should see how the truckies can maneuver!

I think these major sporting events should have a rule by where the seats are divided for each team 50/50, and so fans are 50/50 in their cheering. If there are empty seats and the venue doesnt like it, use a venue that will accomodate the rule. Surely appreciating the role of fans would involve this rule......Perhaps Germany just gave into China after their recent match against Japan

I fail to see how not being next to Sydney or Melbourne means it isnt Australia. I also fail to see why China feels it can say anything about it-so while I have to mention China when we are talking Australia and America let me just question why China feels their One Child Policy is not aggravating the region?

amigo there is no surfing in Darwin
So where are you from the GW? Did I touch a nerve, you got a little rude there-and people are so dumb that they couldnt think of that real way out there tangent of moving personnel from Japan to Australia? Japan would do better by moving their AMerican friends from Okinawa to the mainland. SO whose personnel are you talking about moving? Yours? Or maybe youre European in flavour-even England gets their haughty taughty times; which wouldnt they envy that closeness of between these two countries

so which is?
maybe they got a whiff of Darwin prices....
but its comments like GW that annoys me "Base in Oz..........h'm cud this at some point lead to a transfer of US assets/personnel from Japan at some point me wonders......." Playing both sides of the fence, not saying what you mean. America can handle both spots and you know it. It assumes that you have the position to fling your personnel around where-ever you feel is fit-and that is the attitude that has caused a riff in the US, right. You have to say with your mouth(well in this case writing) where your faith lies. Japan or Australia, or both, but you cant fling the Im the authority on it, around. Do you realize how much a mental game you play with that? And I can tell you the people that have been affected is not low in number.

Australia for too long took too literally the "we're a beautiful country abounding in nature" attitude. Of course in that part of the world they only had New zealand to compare to, and most New Zealanders preferred Australia over NZ, cause that why there is so many who moved. NZ is choking on the natural high. Australia needs to think more about developing itself internally, and quit worrying about the tourists. Theyll come if they want to, the service or pricing wont play much part in affecting that. And certainly whether you wear thongs or not has no baring on the tourism industry. In fact I hear most locals are offended by the dress code going on. So your universe is definitely not the same as mine. I think the opposite to slob might be snob. So can we say l comes first and wins.
