I went once and was totally miserable. I went with my then girlfriend. She was visiting me, and we were traveling around japan. We saw an advertisement for this, and decided to jump on a train and go to kobe since it wasn't too far away from where we where. We get off the train, and the station was insane packed. We started walking with the crowd, and walking and walking and walking and walking and walking. It took us 3 hours to walk to the lights, we either stood waiting in line, or walking for 3 straight hours. We were starving and there was no food anywhere because we were locked in a crowd which was fenced off as well, so you either went forward or to backwards (that would be a a bad idea). By the time we finally got the lights we were so angry, tired, and hungry we took a few pictures and left, the train station was 5 min away, but it took us 3 hours to get there. FYI be prepared for large crowds, standing for a long time, baby strollers to crush you heels, bring a snack and you might be able to enjoy this amazing display.

This is nothing against J-police. They are doing a thorough job by testing this shoe for DNA. But what leads them to believe this is that girls shoe. Is this the first random shoe ever found in Japan. Do they tie every thrown away shoe to a missing person or dead body? I'm just wandering what led the news or the police to jump to that conclusion. It seems some info is missing. Like we saw blood on it. Its her exact shoe size. We know what type of shoes she owns or was wearing the day she disapeered. Can you imagine that in the USA. in less than 12 hours I could find you no less than several dozen shoes thrown around ditches and street and power lines. I sure hope all of those don't belong to dead people.

I wonder if all those people who wrote on this website that they are against abortion that about stuff like this. So when they were talking about the gift of life, I guess they were talking about these 3 people right? what a great gift. a mom who would sell her unwanted baby, a pedophile, and molested unloved baby... I see 3 abortions that should have happened.

Moderator: Stay on topic please. Abortion is irrelevant to this discussion.

Moore is a very talented film maker. I like his movies, but his delivery can be a little too one sided to say the least, and the facts bent and blurred. But he has an opinion and want to get it across, he does that very effectively. Some people hate him and refuse to listen, that's closed minded. Some people blindly beilvie every thing he has to say, that's also close minded. Moore needs to be taken with a large grain of salt, but he usually has a very good point, and like i said he is a very good film maker. His films are very captivating. BUT I have to say I would take this guy a lot more serious if he wasn't absolutely disgusting to look at. He makes me want to vomit sometimes.

im sorry. miracle??? what is a miracle. do you realize that possibiltes of something extremely rare to happen. pretty high because if you think about all the random things that COULD happen. well its into the trillions and trillions of things. so something 'rare' happens all the time somewhere. If you think about the MIRCLE of sperms and eggs. if you think about all the sex, and all the sperm, and and all the egs. then I would say its really not that rare all the time... if its such a miricle, then why are their 6 billion people running around. and if its such a miricle, then why is their so much pain and suffering in the world. I will tell you what it is. Its the only way you can rationalize life, when in the end all life, and humans really are are a roll of the universal dice that all started with a few chemical reactions that made the first amino acids, and once DNA formed, BY SCIENCE, then human evolution was just a product of the environment. bam. simply a roll of galactic dice. all math and science. i guess a mircle would be you passing a science test.

he probably banged his knee in the first fall, when he caught himself on the ledge. if his foot slipped, then his knee might be the first then to bang on the ledge that he then caught. AND\OR when he caught himself on the ledge he may have swung into the building a little hitting his knee.

pro choice. here is a thought. why do you think life is so wonderful. We are programed in our genes to survive. That doesnt mean life is such a great gift. We are here and we make the best of it. come on you all run away from the terrible things this world through at us. You drink, or watch tv, or play video games, or listen to music, or loose yourself in the internet. They all make you and me happy, but they its just running away from this GIFT of life. I am a happy person. I enjoy life. But I stay busy, I try not to think about the terror, the STARVING BABIES!!!!! the poor people all over who do awefull things, take awefull jobs, to feed their family. Its funny that I bet only the rich wonderful happy people on here think abortion is so horrible. Really, travel to africa, to india, to china where 90% of the people are living in hell trying to feed a baby that will grow up with no chance at a good future. Yeah. Pro-torture. lets try to take care of the people who alive today, not make more miserable souls. Thats why i am pro-choice. accidents happen, and bad decisions are sometimes made. just 1 unwanted baby could ruin 3 peoples lives and make the world a worse place. and the baby is going to grow in a broken home, un loved, un wanted, with less of a chance of future. yeah sure if u want to call it murder. Then fine. its murder. But sometimes murder isn't so bad. look at war and execution. I know a few million Jews who wish someone had murdered Hitler!!!!!!!!! I would gladly murder hitler and live with the conciseness. and a lot of babies are unplanned. but just becuase something is legal, you dont have to it. I am pro-choice. it doesnt mean if I get my girlfriend pregnet today, I would choice to abort. I probably wouldnt! but I want the freedom to make a choice. Becuase if I was 18 and i got my girlfriend pregnet and my plans to be a meidcal docter to save lives was ruined, then I would make the choice to abort. but who am i kidding. Everyone out there has made their decision. and they wont change.

some people mentioned this. A door system, so the actual rails are impossible to get to. The doors only open when a corresponding door on the train open, the rest of the space is a thick plexi glass wall. The thing is I can describe this system because some Japanese subways have them. why dont they use them on the trains. At the very least they make me feel safer, I don't really like walking that edge. It is so easy to trip, get pushed by a crowd, or drop something down there. drop something down there and its bye bye.

I think it sucks that there are that many people who want to commit suicide. I used to be suicidal when i was younger and bi-polar had just hit me for the first time. I didn't know what I was dealing with. After a while I totally grew out of the idea of suicide. I still have my bi-polar, and its sucks, and I deal with it. Suicide is such a childish idea. not to mention. why a train??! you may be a failure and a quiter. Do you have to be the world biggest a$$hole all at the same time.

Thats serious. That's no murder gone wrong, or hey lets get rid of the body. this is a 100% true psychopath we have here. gruesome stuff! You scientists think there are something like several hundred serial killers that we have no idea they even exist (we think they exist, but the pattern, or bodies have yet to be discovered) . just look at the guy they caught in America, BY ACCIDENT!!!

@yourock (yes i do but you dont)

shouldn't 15,16, and 17 year old girls be at school, getting an education for the rest of their lifes? The J public like their 'idols' young, which could explain other 'off topic' things.

come on. really. are you jealous? let these girls have their fun, their fame, and their money. Most Japanese people never do anything extraordinary. My j-tutor who speaks perfect English, has never been 200 miles south to Tokyo. A lot of people either stay in the country town dreaming to go to Tokyo, or complete their only dream by moving to Tokyo and living a mild, fight for every yen and penny, just the same as everyone else life.
really?!?!? your complaining because some girls are having the time of their lives? by the way. I think they gave the flu to each other on purpose. Its makes sense. Would you rather have a member or two out this week, two more the next week. or go ahead and get them all sick at once to get it over with.

come on. at the very least, surely the guy had a broken nose. they break like eggs shells. If someone had a broken nose, hell, even a cut that MIGHT need stitches I am racing you to the hospital RIGHT now!!! I will throw a towel at you, that's the only nursing i would do. Getting to the hospital is priority number 1. of course given the severity, I would call an ambulance if appropriate.

denied assaulting the man???? his hands would look like the guys face. If his knuckles aren't bleeding and bone isn't sticking out the guy is innocent. And why in the world did the manager not call police and an ambulance IMMEDIATELY. "well the guys face was caved in, but I thought I could nurse him back to health. When I noticed he was cold, I thought it might be time to call for help" that was an omitted quote from the true story.
