I think people in Japan are so in favor of the death penalty, because they feel they would never ever have to face it. Everyone should behave in Japan. Comparing the USA to Japan is completly unfair in everyway. In the USA we don't break the law because we don't want to get caught. Here, in Japan we dont break the law becuase, well... Its the Law. There is no fear of getting caught. No one wants to break the rules. Its a persnal and and cultural code. No one here could care less if you are five minutes late. The person who is five minutes late will care though. He or she will be riddled with guilt for weeks. Feeling awfule about not getting there 30 minutes early like everyone else. Breaking an actual law (running red lights NOT included) is just out of the question. The few people here who do break laws are the extremely desprate, the hopeless, the yakuza, the sick (like rape, child porn, ect). In america 1\100 avg dudes has probably sold dope. 1\20 smoked doped. In college in the USA I didnt know a person that didn't break some sort of law on a fairly regular basis. Granted most of those laws were drugs, or driving under the influence, but nonetheless those are still laws that no one felt any guilt about breaking.

this story is extremely sad, but also brings to light that confuses me so much. Life jackets and car seats. I dont know why a country that 'seems' so advance and civilized doesnt use the normal everyday safety devices that have been in use for as long as I can remember. When I went fishing with my dad, lake, ocean, or large pond. we both life jackets, reguardless of our ages. I was an excelent swimmer even at a young age and him an ex-life gaurd. Why do I see parents hold their babies in their arms while driving down the highway. now that I think about it. I dont think I have ever even seen a car seat in Japan. please japan. a lot of these really sad stories could be avoided.

its just a toy gun that shoots plastic BBs. its not something to get freaked out about, but also not something to bring to school nonetheless. The teachers I work with take them away from time to time when one of my high school students are dumb enough to bring them here to school. I love guns, and own a couple of the these guns just to twril on my finger while I watch TV or something. That being said as much as I love guns, I would never own a real one. I am just fine watching them on tv, usinging them in video games, and trwiling a replica on my finger. and yes I agree with people that this caption is pretty vauge for a news site. The thing is, this is just a toy in Japan. at my school you would get in just as much trouble if you brought your DS or PSP.

man.. that makes me sick to my stomach. Its no wonder it doesnt happen more often. I downloded a few dozen (it was a big torrent) gigs of japanese hentei and I have to say even though its animated it often has things in it that are the most shocking things I have ever seen in my life. rape and gang rape, being common. something quite a few japaense people pay for and enjoy watching.

Way too much action and not enough on character development. It was like playing a video game.

um. that sounds awesome!!!! not every movie has to an oscar winner to be worth watching for two hours. It was like playing a video game. I guess that means you dont play video games. or dont like playing them.

I havent seen it yet. not a good enough copy in Bit Torrent yet and it doenst open in Japan till next week.

I cant be much worse than T3, that was just sad.

**The benefits are at a substantially higher level than taking an ordinary vitamin pill. what? its costs you more money, and you just bought your self the placebo effect. something a cup of coffee, or eating right, and or getting a decent night sleep would have prevented in the first place (feeling run down)

Im not saying it wont help. But 3 months supply of the best vitams out there are about 15-25 bucks. You want a good blend of amino acids. drink a 50 cent protien drink. thats about 75 cents a day. compared to needles and what else. Its like lipo suction. Sure it works. It works great. Or you could just put down your coke, candy bar, and take a short jog. Its a lot cheaper.

Eating right, and getting the right nutrients is a way of life, not a quick stop at a store once in a while when you are feeling down.

This is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. I am an amateur bodybuilder in Japan. (I don’t compete or anything, just work my ass off eating right (75% of the job) and lifting huge weights in the gym). I can tell you first hand Japan is at lealst 15-25 years behind America in terms of physical fitness awareness and especially nutrition. When it comes to exercise or food and nutrition. I don’t argue or even say a word. I just agree, even though in side I am either laughing or about to jump off a cliff in disbelief. Wear should I start. They don’t know how to stretch right. 8 glasses of water a day (you should aim for 8 letters). If they are lucky they drink 2 bottles of green tea or coffee loaded with caffeine. Just yesterday I was told they stopped school marathons because kids were dropping dead all of sudden from dehydration. You shouldn’t even bother to excessive at all if your not pumped full of water. Whole wheat? Where is it. Well my friend and I were told Japanese bowels aren’t used to whole grains, they can’t digest it. Really!?! Well I am pretty sure you ate brown rice for about 2000 years before you started eating white rice. Protein. You need 1 gram per .5 kg of body weight. They get about 50 a day if they lucky. REALLY lucky. Why are my biceps the size of most guys thighs. PROTIEN! Don’t get me wrong. The masks are a great idea Japan. Way to go. And thy have some great herbal medicine. Also some real BS herbal stuff too. Just take a vitamin. Hell. I take one the morning and a different one at night just to make sure I everything I need. And by the way, the FDA recommendations on vitamins is for 125 lb lazy people who do nothing all day. It is perfectly safe to WAY more than the recommended FDA amount except for stuff like vitamin A which is fat soluble.
