Tokyo rocks in terms of no. of restaurants, consistent pricing, quality of food, cleaneliness and offcourse service. I included pricing as well. If you go to any other country and compare pricing in the context of service, food quality, cleanliness etc, think Tokyo gives you a better value. You can get a delicious lunch in JPY 1000~1500 range in a luxerious restaurant which I doubt you can get in any other country. The only food I am missing is authentic/homemade asian esp. thai food. but think that goes back to Japanese government policy of immigration and not allowing so called "blue collar" workforce that can prepare pretty good food at very low price but rather rely on Japanese workforce.Think Korean food is an exception. As Bilderberg said, these are just guidebooks for tourists and not bible.Places like singapore are good for Asian food but surely lacks variety and quality of other food whereas western countries lack finesse of

northlondon, apologies, i take my comments back on "weird dressed people" (i didnt say weird people though). but i still think the Brit show lacked imagination and a message. May be Boris is a cool dude for the Brits but majority of people think otherwise..

overall a great success and hats of to China... CC was so so..the Brits had given 10 minutes to show something and they successfully set up expecations on how crappy the olympics will be in London.. the Brit show was a joke and lack of any creativity..30 odd weird dressed people jumping back & forth in front of a RED BUS..David Beckam kicking a ball with his stupid smile. I dont know much about the london mayor but the dude worried me. Think, all the Brit Critics will realise soon on how diffcult to organise or even come close to Beijing Olympics. I am also glad that I dont have to listen to Japanese commentators and all JoshiAnna's "sugoiii, subarshiii, Nippon Chuyoi" comments anymore.

The best Olympic show ever, Congrates China..i doubt if any other country can put together such a grand show..Guys dont be cynical and throw away your anti-china sunglasses. btw, thanks to NHK for broadcasting the ceremony and as always the commentators sucked..they had done very little homework except JoshiANA's classic insightful lines like * sugooooiiiii, subarashiiiii* for every 2 minutes.
