@dentshop, celiac disease is worse than eating these "mechanically separated chicken and chemicals"
granted those are not ideal, but if you want to talk about eating chemicals, look no further than the modern wheat based bread. Not only are those heavily dosed with chemicals, but they are genetically modified, looking nothing like its ancestral forefather. Celiac disease will mess up your gut, leave it vulnerable, and ultimately lead to autoimmune diseases such as diabetes and cancer--that would be worse than eating mechanically separated chicken.

only way to do this will be for the JP govt to buy more JGBs, unfortunately. If they dont raise consumption tax and refuse to make more expenditure cuts, the only way to keep this country running is to buy more bonds.
Of course, that will lead to inflation, which in a sense is like a tax increase anyways. So this vicious cycle will continue, inflation spikes, real value drops, the people holding these JGBs lose value, banks cut their lending, and back to recession.
so in other words, we are screwed.

definitely, much more concerned about cleanliness now. Everytime i go back to the US, i am appalled at the filthiness of public spaces, especially restrooms. I always took off my shoes at home so that is no change.
I never go around without alcohol wipes in the States.

Great story, but I wonder why the Japanese American one, Minoru Ohye, can't speak Japanese. It seems he was living in Japan until 1951 when he would have been 25. So if he went to Japan as a child, (10 years old??), that would be 15 years at least speaking Japanese. Plus I am sure he spoke Japanese with his mom in California. Can you forget Japanese after 60 years?

if you dont want to know the results of the games today, stay off the internet completely. shut off your tv. turn off your smartphone/mobile. simple as that. No Japanese watches NFL games so you would completely be safe.
