An act of children. The rightists of Japan, another group of children, are green with envy…

Personally it is great for me whenever i go overseas with the strong yen, and I don't work for an exporting company.
As the other previous finance ministers goes, you can't keep putting band aids on this problem and intervening and manipulating the market. The fundamental problem of the lousy Japanese economy and corporate philosophy needs to be fixed first. Overthrowing Olympus is a good start.

Pro-TPP, here is why: -JP govt will make direct subsidy payments to farmers--farmers won't lose out -No one in JP will buy their own products anyways--radiation-tainted, shrinking population, aging population--so sell it elsewhere. someone will buy it overseas -Need for joining in the international community. Japan has been on itself for too long and always standoffish. Time to build relationships and not have the same continuous "island mentality." Also, Japan in general is always resistant to change and historically xenophobic. It's time to grow up and get out of your shell, Hatoyama and co.
Protectionism is a form of state government control. It will never win out.

bad move to make linkedin in Japanese. This is a professional networking website in an increasingly global world. If the Japanese refuse to come out of their shell and start learning to use English and deal with foreigners and open up in a setting that is not comfortable them, then it is basically a glimpse of the many problems they have and will have in the future.
