So much for the six-party nuclear disarmament talks. Boy-oh-boy, Bill's going to get a spankin' from Hillary when he gets home.

The secret prisons are now empty, Panetta said. The agency has taken no new prisoners since he became director in February, he said, and the agency is preparing to decommission the prisons permanently.

Save USD4M to guard empty prisons? This guy Panetta has a lot on the ball.

Under whose administration did said attacks occur again?

President Clinton wins with the most attacks REPEATED during his administration.

"where a 38-year-old man was sleeping with his companion"

    Obviously, doing the horizonal bop.

    "Companion," is it?

    Texas executes Mexican-born murderer.

“I’m sorry my actions caused you pain. I hope this brings you the closure that you seek. Never harbor hate,” Jose Medellin said to those gathered to watch him die.

    Reasonable chap.

This is some quality reporting. Good to see that JT hasn't slipped any lower.

As usual, one has to read from the end of the article, backwards, for it to make any sense.

I'm starting to wonder if these news reports are from the pre-surge period. My sources in Iraq are enjoying ice cream. Lots of it.

I want them to get an education because they were duped into joining an idiotic war for all the wrong reasons,

How odd. Many state universities don't want recruiters anywhere on campus. Perhaps this is because military members get some real education in the real world. The professors, who have never had a real job, quake at this thought. Imagine the challenges to their Leftist pap.

“When it comes to Iraq, it appears that money is no object for President Bush,” said the chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Sen. Robert Byrd, D-W.Va. “Yet when it comes to important priorities here at home, he turns into Ebeneezer Scrooge.”

    (cough)

Sen. Byrd sometimes claims that he is in favor of fiscal restraint. However, the senator currently has more than 30 public works named after him - seriously undermining his pleas for budget responsibility. http://www.cagw.org/site/PageServer?pagename=news_byrddroppings

Yet another AFP editorial. When was the last time one saw a Medal of Honor recipient grace these pages?

Chiroux is an aberration of the American fighting man and typical fodder for the Leftist Media.

Note: Gays can marry as long as it is within the confines of the law, just like all people in all countries.

I cannot marry my brother, nor would I want to.

How queer this is since 36 million Californians voted to keep marriage defined as a man and a woman. Activist judges overturned this as they know better. It doesn't matter what the public thinks or votes for.

    Why can't 14-year-olds get married?

She walked in alone, where the hell was the guy who knocked her up? Someone, at that stage of her pregnancy, should have been with her at all times or at the very least had a method of communication.

Lots of unmarried, single women go to a sperm bank for artificial insemination so they can be a single mom. With role models like this, well, who needs a guy? A man, fish, bicycle, you know the old saw.

That aside, with all the "sex education" in U.S. schools (chuck the science and biology) how come this young woman doesn't know to tie off the umbilical cord? At least she brought the placenta to the hospital but that was by sheer dumb luck.

U.S. and Iraqi forces have waged street battles with Shiite militias since late March in Sadr City, the power base of radical Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr and his Mahdi Army militia.
