All you need is a slow acting poison hidden in some yummy fruit.. is it unneccessary cruelty until they get their hands on an infant? Or do they wanna wait for the overreaction and complete extermination of all monkeys in Japan.

I've never watched that channel but 1000yen for fondling an attractive TV star doesn't sound like a bad deal at all! Do I get to fondle all 5 or just 1 for each sen?

They ain't gonna stop no matter what you say, so why bother protesting? Besides, you are actually helping out the economy of Taiji directly through any purchases you make in the region and indirectly by keeping them on everyone's mind.

You can't ban twitter use during their private times, which could be interspersed throughout their work day. Bathroom break? Private time. Lunch? Private time.

Does this even weigh on the consciences of people? You'd expect that the first thing people would do after reading this is to check up on their parents, hopefully..

All this secrecy and darkness. It would be hilarious if that file gets unencrypted and contains a really nice picture or Shakespeare's complete works. That's the big trap the US is scared of. If they decide to attack WikiLeaks and it turns out that this was nothing more than a ruse, then the government looks like Big Brother manifested (and they are!)
Of course the neo-conservatives think that the public is a collection of morons and deserve to be fed lies, but is that the principles that our countries were founded upon? They are the modern day tyrants.

That is awesome! We might not agree with their culture, religion or laws, but their diligence in attempting to follow the eye-for-an-eye law makes it extremely interesting. What if he dies in the process? What if his damaged spine heals itself? Somebody should send a documentary crew down there cuz it's more compelling and serious than anything writers can think of.

The quality of this book is on par with the quality of TV shows on certain channels. I turned on the TV randomly one day and came across "Pervert Ranking", listing and ranking (of course) various stories from actual police reports, dramatically acted out by various "talento". To see the story actors, "talento" audience, and hosts degrading themselves by doing this makes me sad for the entertainment industry and its audience.

Wow, there really is a Famous Amos?!! That he lost his namesake original company and started several more to come back is a testament to this guy's worth.

There's so much back and forth over the little details (and chewing over of well-worn arguments), but this article was certainly informative to me about the lesser known (but possibly almost as influential) impact that the Russians had in Japanese decision to surrender.
From my newbie point of view (which might be just as valid as all you informed but biased types), whatever exact amount of influence each antagonist country had in the surrender couldn't really be pinned down even if we were able to interview Hirohito and Tojo moments after the decision had been made. They had a million things going on at the time, the atomic bombings and Russian threat being part of a constellation of influences.
Their own interpretation of Bushido and possibly their concern for their own reputation could have played an even bigger part, but we'll never know, will we? All these attempts at retrospective penile measurement are futile and the pointless bickering will continue into eternity.

gogogo:
Are you claiming that physical gratification hurts people? Maybe more generally, degrades them in some way? I'd like to see you make that claim to all the proper massage therapists, injury rehabilitation specialists and acupuncturists out there. Just because it is sex doesn't mean that there is a winner and loser. What a puritanical and small view of the world you have.
Anyways, in the future, it is %100 assured that sex-bots will exist and they will be demonized by people who want to boss others around.

Guys with gambling problems get no sympathy eh?
If this was some guy arrested for improper relations with a minor, there's always a few pervs trying to defend him. Same thing with drug mules/addicts.

How to figure out the bully: separate all the kids, pick the most likely ones and tell them that they've been ratted out the others, they'll collapse like a house of cards.
Not like this will help the victim or remove the cause. There's a permissive environment that allows bullying to continue and leaves victims unable to seek help. And this happens everywhere, not just Japan(check out the spate of bullying suicides in the news from other countries, geniuses). Unfortunately this country is thick-headed when it comes to seeking solutions to non-technical problems, plus some have confused the socially honorable seppuku with any old depressing suicide.
