    How? The proposed sanctions only target specific people and organizations, not the general public.

    You wish. Small businesses that maybe importing or exporting in any sanctioned nations are actually scapegoats as well. To put a price tag on these 'organizations' it could range from US$500 local stores- US$1 bil companies. Imagine small businesses in the Gaza Strip affected by latest round of sanctions.

    Heh, even if your scenario is accurate it still doesn't make any add up since the biggest bully in the region is not IRAN.

    Iran is just a nuclear bomb waiting to go off. Literally.

    It`s nuclear facilities should have been bombed years ago already.

    LoL I'm sure the American public will buy that. OR perhaps the thinkers in Washington already decided to completely ignore the public's trust. But if OBAMA (and it seems SARKOZY) goes ahead with the plan-- I'm sure PALIN and the NEOCONS will be absolutely delighted... and vindicated.

    Heh, how on earth can Obama be construed as this? Not even Bush II was particularly a "fanatic".

    I'm optimistic with current Mid East direction. So long as the boring sh!t stirrers of B-II are not in the picture, which I'm pretty confident they'll try, then diplomatic persuasion will still be manageable.

    SIR, you have deliberately missed key points on your quoted report. The sell-off was triggered by OBAMACARE but this was just an excuse for a quick exit. The fact is growth has not been strong enough in the US. China effectively reduced its US bond holdings late 2009 to early 2010 ... And because of this JAPAN is now the largest sovereign holder of US T-bonds.

    The trend is below par in fact that analysts don't even care about inflation right now. And to quote the US veep, this is a f%@en big deal!

    Congress SHOULD represent the people, but instead they represent AIPAC. Supporting Israel is NOT in the interest of the American people.

    I do not agree but we must only woo the State of Israel with UN or United Nations on defense of Israel or State of Israel. The US or United States must defence Israel and its nationalities from every or all negativities this beleagured country is affecting

    Israel was "created" in 1947 by a UN resolution so there's not much renegade about it. The immediate and reoccuring attacks by the Arab states, which obviously didn't care a whit for UN resolutions back then, resulted in resounding defeats and the conquest of new territory by Israel.

    Israel or the State of Israel is the best friend, most reliable best friend of the US or the United States. These alone merits the Americans best regard or understanding and cooperaion for these more beleaguered nation or nationalities.

    I might have revise my position on this a bit. It is actually hard to tell who is the majority in East Jerusalem. It may depend on where you draw the lines.

    British Foreign Secretary David Miliband said that Israel cooperated fully with the investigation (CNN. He has yet to present any facts surrounding his statement.
