Actually, if you closely, it's really a bad photograph of the Kono sisters. Awful lighting and colors. Posing is dreadful.
But besides that, their outfits clash with each other and their makeup, particularly around the eyes, looks like it was done on a subway train by a junior high school girl.

"The determination with wich the US media are ignoring Obamas terrorist ties is a sight to behold." Yeah because Obama has not terrorist ties. If he had there would have bee a big hanging investigation and indictments by now. That's what Bush and Company would have done. But they can't. Bill Ayres is not a terrorist. He was never charged with being a terrorist though he was with Weatherman in the 60s. You can be sure in this day and age that he would have been at least investigated if there was any hint he was a terrorist.
No investigations, no charges--and its not that the Bush administration is sweamish. Therefore, no one is a terrorist and "paling" with terrorists.
It's all fiction that has been made up by the McCain losers and put into Sarah Palin's mouth.
That's the reality. If it were otherwise it make great copy. As it stands it belongs with "Cow glows in Florida" / "Elvis's spirit sighted by astronauts."

The grim reaper of hate sowing in the Republican Party is Palin with her personal and unfounded attacks on Obama. McCain on his part has not disapproved of anything she has said.
Palin's big lie that Obama "pals with terrorists" is a case in point. Bill Ayes has never been arrested for terrorism nor is he now under investigation. He is a respected professor. He has a cleaner bill of health than Palin, who own state's investigation has declared that she abused her abuse of power. Furthermore, Obama is to the right of Ayes, with whom he has had little contact. But the Republicans are pushing this lie. Sowing the seeds of hatred? Yeah.
Obama did one brave thing in his political life. He opposed Bush's war on Iraq, which common sense alone showed was unnecessary (I mean even before it was plain as day that Bush & Co. lied about Saddam's weapons of mass destruction). Otherwise, he has been a humdrum American politician, probably more honest than most, and about as liberal as Teddy Kennedy.
I must note that the Democrats have been discreet about McCain's personal life, like his adultery during his first marriage, the dumping of his first wife because she was invalided by a car accident, though it would have appealed to the "family values" crowd.

The real hate monger in the McCain camp is Palin. Her latest lie, that Obama pals around with terrorists (that almost a direct quote) has become a mainstay of the Republican smear campaign. McCain acts like a reasonable man but he is as guilty of the hate mongering as anyone.
I love the woman's line that Obama is an Arab. I think she meant another word, one that begins with N. McCain ought to have said that there is nothing wrong with being an Arab, though Obama isn't an Arab. There is an Arab running for president, however. Ralph Nadar.

Race card? Rubbish. Look at the hate in these rallies. I've never seen a US election like this. It is fair to ask if there are potential assassins among the overheated Republican mobs. I sincerely hope there are not.

CavemanLawyer: There is a big difference between eating corn flakes and instituting totalitarian and racist labor policies. Haider knew what he was doing when offered more than faint praise for the Third Reich. As a driver I have a natural sympathy for anyone who dies in a car wreck; but I will not miss the man.

We now vividly see the hysterical lynch mob mentality of the redneck-neocon supporters of McCain. They are the core of the Republican Party and are fed with the hate-mongering of right-wing radio rabble-rousers, fundamentalists yahoos and liars and psychopaths like Ann Coulter. This is the has been the mob that has legitimized Bush's wars and his destruction of civil liberties.
I do not think much will change with an Obama victory by itself. Gizmo will no doubt be closed, and civil libertarians will breath easier. Probably we'll see a gradual withdrawal from Iraq, which is what the Iraqi government wants. But the disaster in Afghanistan will continue.
American capitalism in all its evil manifestations will continue as well, as least for a while.
The last month has shown how much people are ruled by events and not the other way around. If the monetary crisis continues you may see more government regulation and even nationalization in the US to save the system. We may also see a revolt that will make the protests of the 1960s look mild by comparison.
Taniwha is essentially right. Unfortunately, socialist parties in the US as on the fringe, unlike in Europe. But that may well change.
One thing is certain. The "free market" party is over and the American Empire is broke and has to scale back.
Anyway, McCain's supporters are going ballistic because McCain is going to lose. I only worry about how many potential assassins there are in that mob of right-wing hysterics.

That the current smear campaign against Obama is happening now and not a month ago shows only that the McCain campaign is running on empty and about to seize up. Palin is a joke but she diverts the public away from the fact that McCain is a bigger joke. Biden was smart enough to see that and hammered at McCain during his debate with Palin.
A vote for McCain is a vote for your future misery.
Given the stupidity that the American populace is capable of, they just might elect the Bush zombies.

Hang on everybody. Bill Ayers is not a "terrorist." He was never charged with being a terrorist, much less convicted as one. Whatever he was in his youth he is now a staid member of America's professional establishment.
Palin is a liar. She is a particularly stupid liar too, as she has opened herself up to a big fat law suit by Bill Ayers. The awful thought is that this ignorant hysteric could wind up as the president of the US.
If you want to know about the low level "terrorism" Palin conducted as a mayor and a governor Google "The real Sarah Palin." I promise you, you'll be shocked.

Ho hum. The American arguments over health care seen soooo primitive from over here in Japan. We have universal health care--"socialized medicine" if you will--and whatever the shortcomings of the system is here, we are light years better off than the Americans. In fact every major industrialized country has universal health care, except for the US.
What the US does have in its place is the crooked HMO health care industry and the crooked insurance industry and the crooked American Medical Association.
While we who are not Americans get sick with relative financial comfort the Americans will continue to go bankrupt paying for inflated medical bills.
In place of universal health care the US will get buckets of God and patriotism. And more war.
And it does not matter who becomes president. The Americans will never have as good as we who have "socialized medicine" have.

Similarly, minutes after the Sept 13, 2007, incident, one of the alleged victims, sports-memorabilia dealer Alfred Beardsley, was calling news outlets, and the other, Bruce Fromong, spoke of getting “big money” from the case.

Another thought: Bush is like the little boy who cried "wolf" too often. He got two useless wars started by crying "wolf." His phony "war on terror" is a prolonged cry of "wolf." Well, now that there is a real "wolf" at the economic door no one is taking him seriously.
