Good gawd... I must say, I've never felt suicide is the answer and never will. What this area needs is alot of blood, sweat and tears (I know they've already experienced that, but i'm talking in a productive way!) the government and the people need to work together to rebuild this area of Japan, how can they do that if everybodys becoming alcoholics and suicidal, with the government sitting on their bums in the office 'discussing' what to do. They need ACTION, NOT discussion!

I can only imagine what they're going through, and I'm sure the government is going nuts on what to do (I assume) but both suicide and alcoholism are giving up. What happened to the Japan 'fighto!' spirit.

I'd gladly, go to Japan and help, all I need is a passport and a plane ticket (luckily don't need a visa hehe) then I'd be so there! But i'm broke and can't afford it... So, I send support in spirit and hear about how horrible it is from my friends in Japan and I am working towards going there to help out!

The majority of people joined out of curitosity, as did I and found it simple and boring. There is nothing special about it and personally I get more out of facebook. If they want to catch my attention: more colour, more imagination and have something totally unique to google+ that captures attention.

There are a few things that appear unique to google+, but the 'circles' aren't very special, you can put your friends into different categories, we can do that on facebook. Webcam possibilities and chatting online, we have skype and msn. Combining them all is a good idea, but there needs to be something that draws us too it, and they haven't done it for me.

The site is too simple and boring to keep my attention.

Osakadaz: I wouldn't be surprised if the bikie gangs are connected to this.

    I highly doubt it.

And there are a few Japanese who ignore the "do not photograph" or "do not use flash" signs in churches abroad.

I ignore those to.. the "sacred" thing doesn't matter to me ;o i is evil.

Hm, from what i've seen, Indians, Americans and Muslims. Not all of them of course! I know quite a few who aren't. But those are the mains i see.

hahaha, this isnt much, my friends english teacher had them write suicide notes. To express their creativity - the teacher was put on suspension when a few parents complained though.

Well, I like it ;D food is wonderful. There obsession is better then the fatty obsession of fast foods we have the 'western countries'. Home cooking is fun! Loving to home-cook myself, i reckon people should do it more often ^^ I can make something out of the least likely ingredients! ;D No complaints as long as it takes good ;]

    er... timorborder LOL,

no, i say however people want to divorce is there choice, if they want to do a ceremony let them.. lol i reckon its a way to end it peacefully, it's better than going to the lawyers and paying hundreds to get screwd over by another lawyer your ex was paying, then have war lol I reckon the best end is a mutual agreement between divorcees, that allows them to conduct the most peaceful method to seperate from eachother... -.- but thats in an ideal world right? haha

I believe native English would be better, unless the non-native is taught to speak english almost fluently, including pronoucing and spelling it well. But, define native english? There are 3 main native english speaking countries; England, America and Australia. All with different dialects, mannerisms and ways of spelling words/teaching in general. I supose, just being able to speak english fluetly and write/read english is the most important for an english teacher, so non-native or native wouldn't matter as long as that skill is there.

It upsets me to see animals in cages and small enclosures, they need bigger areas to be able to enjoy life and feel free atleast, it's not natural for them. How would we like it if we had to stay in a small cage or enclosure and have thousands of weird creatures gawking at us, flashing lights in our faces.

I can understand why westerners are againt whaling but i can also see why Japan is not ^^

Some obvious reasons being, they were brought up with it being ok and its a source of food.

westerners, strangly, seem to not know how we get fish, ya know the stuff we buy in the markets and shopping cetres? it comes from the sea! ;o shock and horror!!!! ^^

I can understand whales are important and all, but unfortunatly there is going to be a drop in sea creatures AND land creatures, we cant just stop that from happening, save the animals or quit eating any kind of meats? and dont go herbivore on me cause i dont want that option xD good for you if you are, but that doesnt mean the rest of us have to ^^.

We are born meat eaters, hunters, and we are trying to stop something that years ago was the natural way to get food (and still is) and nobody thought twice about it? Since then population has grown, and food demands have increased, plus some people are pigs these days, and stuff there faces even without being hungry.
