heres an example of my work-life balance!

7am - 5pm job.. once i get home its about 6-6.30 so i start cooking dinner (sometimes i detour to the shop to get food for dinner! then i can be home 7-7.15), eat dinner, do the dishes, spend a little time with my dad and brother, have a bath/shower, bed -- start all over again ;D

My weekday ritual ^^ and i dont even live in japan lolol mum works late so i cook dinner for my brother and dad ;D i walk from the trainstation after work ;] i dont have a licence ^^ and on weekends i enjoy being a teen! xD

I told you my weekday routine because to have a balance with work and your life can be difficult depending on your current situation. I suggest people who wish to balance them, from my own experience, should always look on the brightside of a long day! (ie: Money you've made!) I'd hate to sound like a know-it-all.. but i really wanted to voice my opinion - if you disagree i don't mind ;] its just what works for me! so what everybodys been saying "Work to live not Live to work!" ;D

Ive never really liked how close japan is with america.. ive never liked how close australia is either. Well to be honest ive never really liked any country i love close to america... i should say that with the new leadership and all, but while i feel ( this is just me so nobody get angry over me saying it.. ) i cant trust obama just yet, my hesitation regarding being close to america will stay.

These guys should really concentrate on the homeland before they start making plans for the whole of Asia.

    I agree.

    America’s Asia strategy

can anybody tell me what that is? because... i hope america, and im not saying they are or will, are planning to 'use' japan, its just the way its sounding, BUT im not going to jump to conclusions :) so can anybody explain? or has a clearer view on the strategy?

nobody can buy anything becuase we will all be unemployed. Production and thus polution and consumption of resources will fall dramatically, or maybe come to an end.

lol do you realise what that would cause? if people cant afford, they will find another way to get it, force if needed. The world would be chaotic. Countrys would attack other countrys for resources if they dont share, would be like world war 3 ha but that is the worst case senario. ;]

If the future is the next generation-which one would you be talking about there?

The generation younger then you or maybe you, I myself am the next generation. My argument goes further back then this, i have witnessed the change as ive got older, and with my younger brother suffering the most. My main problems is the Education these days in my own counrty. Australia. What shinukuboy said hit a nerve.

I think shinukuboy says it nicely. I think it is when opinions like jesssicaaa get started, that more talk happens than work, or any future making.

If nows generation doesnt look after the planet for the next, they are being seriously selfish. You can still party and have a good time, while looking after the planet. Im not some 'environment freak' or whatever, but i think about it in this way.. Its effecting us now, it will effect the next generation after the next until its irreversable. I hate talking about this stuff because i know what people could do to change it, people know what they could do to change it. but they wont. or they think 'well if they arent, why should i bother.' illsayit i know where your coming from i really do.. its just if people dont start doing something now then it will be to late.. and even though alot just argue on the net like this of what we 'should' and 'shouldnt' be doing, i do both argue on the net and try my best to help change a few things in my own community.. because im not doing this for myself, im doing it for the younger generation.

“Dark times indeed,” grumbles Shukan Bunshun, “when you can’t even afford to dream.”

Thats so not true! you can always afford to dream! after all everything we have in this world started as an idea, a wish, a dream.. if you stop dreaming, its like giving up, but with saying that it is good to come to terms with the reality of a bad situation. But never stop dreaming.

Excuse me, but did I sign a pact of some sort with future generations to save some stuff for them? NO!! The party is now! Consume or die! Stop being a party pooper! We all know this stuff, but we don't care. If we did, change would have come long ago, or an environmentally friendly system would have been developed from the beginning. We are human beings! Low life! What do you expect? Anyway, future generations will find their own way to live. Certainly less materialistic because there will be no material! The ultimate eco-friendly system! We are doing them a favor.

Its people with views like yourself that are causing the world to get worse, im sorry to say. Sooner rather then later we probably will run out of things we use from the planet. The world is already changing dramatically, and as much as i agree that we do only live once (for those who believe that, like myself.) and its best to live life to the fullest, But when something more important then yourself comes along asking for help, you have to listen. because this thing isnt small its the planet we live on, if we abuse it then you wont only lose you way of life, you may lose yourself. and the people you care about. I believe the future is what you make it, the Future is in the next generation.. and so far its not looking to fantastic.

Who gave you the right to judge someone else's life?...,

in this you sound angry? omarbabilon i agree. nobody can judge somebody elses life, what people appear to be may not always be who they acually are. Always give somebody the benifit of the dought... thats what i believe atleast. But try not to be angry with the people who dont think like yourself, they are merely expressing there opinion as you are yours and i am mine. ^^

get a fresh box of tissues and you can either stem back the tears or start to 'respect' a new actress instead

LOL thats a good one.. but mean T^T. BlackFlag A life is a Life whether you spend it crying or laughing. This was her life and its unfortunatly ended so soon with her being so young. Whatever the reason for her death, Rest in Peace Ai Iijima.

I eat 3 medium meals a day (breakfast/lunch/dinner) until im almost full, But i dont hesitate to eat in between if im hungry. I walk or ride instead of driving. I eat alot of fish and some beef, pork, chicken etc.. i have veggies with my dinner almost always. I eat alot of nuts and fruit. I rarely watch TV or go on the computer, id rather go out to the park, beach or just go for a walk (helps that my friends are pretty much into that to). I catch a bus or train, but i walk or ride to the station/platform. I have an average body, but quite tall (183cm - 6'0). I drink on special occations but i dont go overboard. i go swimming every so often, for fun not for fitness. I also help keep the house clean! so basically.. I eat what i need i dont over indulge and i naturally exersize without having to think about it ;]

This gadget is, of course, splash-proof and battery-powered so you needn’t worry that the experience will get too electrifying.

    lmao!
