They really have to address the black community honestly and figure out how the culture of violence still persists in most inner cities throughout the states. Black on Black crime is out of control, and has been for some time.

Should have divorced long ago. This probably built up over many years and she finally drove him over the edge.

To just whisk away the issue with such a tactless comment is inane. So, when the government sees fit to raise morale they'll simply call upon the hostesses to satisfy those lacking any confidence. This guy is frightening with his words. Shocking thing is a lot of these politicians get away with insulting comments due to an already ignorant populace.

May push for? This should be a done deal right after he's proven guilty. End this sicko ASAP. He adds nothing to the human cause, nor does it make society any less civil to remove a disease like him. While we're at it let's throw that nut from Colorado and the idiot from Boston in there, too. Enough is enough.

Just sad that Japan is so far behind on their broadcast access to the rest of the world. It can't be that their waiting to translate everything, but I'm sure all the media companies here want their slice of whatever new tech is going to make their jobs irrelevant. Mind you Japan may not care since they seem to be happy with the base 6 channels of the same variety show over and over again (I'm not counting the NHK-E which is great).

Doesn't sound like bullying. Initiation has its ups and downs, and it sounds like the media is blowing this one up to be a bigger story than it truly is. The true crime is making these kids play soccer.

Someone on the JT staff must be a Jays' fan. They have been overrated this year, but it's only May. Lots of baseball yet to play.

To endure what these women have is truly heroic. That neighbour who helped them is a hero, too (and he'd only been in the neighbourhood for a year). This is why it's important to have a sense of community and to take part in what goes on around your neighbourhood. The police really dropped the ball from what initial investigations state 10 years ago, too. Some neighbours that spoke with the BBC said they felt calling the police over some the strange things they'd seen at the house over the years was pointless.

Wow, this didn't happen in Okinawa! What's even funnier is they call it a "pervasive rape problem". I'd say it's a blatant power/alcohol problem.

20 year old. Yes, any 20-year-old is idiotic when drunk. Could care less he was living on the base, but I'm sure they'll deal with him appropriately.

Awful. Just awful. What a savage country that has no respect for women and children. What is sad is India is not alone in this category. RIP little gal.

No threat. NK is a joke state with no punch. The bases are not necessary here. Pack up and move back to the US where your own infrastructure needs serious help, and your cities (Detroit, Chicago, Newark, ...) all are war zones. Set an example at home.

Illegal residents are looking for a better life and they don't have the means to change their own country so they flee it in the hopes of a better life. Now this bill offers, nor assures any of them the chance to obtain citizenship, There is a crazy waiting period, and a ton of fees and penalties to pay. I'm not sure any of them can afford it, nor want to pay. Most illegals are just getting by anyway and will stay under the radar as long as possible. The question we should be asking is "Why aren't you trying to make your home country better?" "What can you offer to make this new country better?" I'm pretty sure the answer is the same "No entiendo." These politicians are well aware that the majority of illegals have no intention of following this path. This is a bill to draw out whatever number they can, and try to get back whatever money they can before deporting them.
