  as deplorable as i find this, it's just the way the world turns . i am hopeful though that some of the sales profits would go to her estate, & in turn to her daughter . if more people found these acts sad as well, they'd refrain from buying. but that's never gonna happen :-(

  the article says NOThing about the children being left unattended . they may have been watching the kids play from a few meters away & were too old to dig them out themselves , so called emergency services. japanese grandparents take better care of their grandchildren then the parents do . seems like a total accident & totally sad for sure .

  OUt of all the cars I've had in my lifetime, I've NEVER had one that got the mileage it had med. This is great & i hope she wins & it does open the floodgates. Maybe this false advertising will stop. car manufacturers seem like the only ones who get away with it. per say .

  i seriously doubt the japanese would ever boot out one of their own & replace them with a gaijin. no matter how bad the japanese person was, he's still better than a "gaijin" in their eyes.

  the Resident, people are mostly complaining about the way they advertise the cost of flights & the way the article states that fares are cheaper this year, when in fact they are higher. just put 1 TOTAL price. very simple . i'm wondering if busses , ferries, taxi's & so on add a fuel surcharge to their listed prices .

  i have yet to meet a japanese person who is against the tax hike. obviously, they're not pleased , but they feel something has to be done b4 the country falls too deep to recover. how about a luxury tax & removing taxes from perishables .

  i've seen many child seats here in japan which are not even fastened down in any way at all. govt. or someone has to educate these people on the correct usage of the child seats.
