not planning on seeing any of them actually. i wouldn't consider any of them worthy of being in a blockbuster category as they are all sequels. a couple of them are even on their 4 or 5th time around. c what happens

quite surprising that so many people would keep something that isn't theirs. also, by japanese law, if no one claims it before 6 months it is returned to finder. so, you can always just return it & hope & pray :-)

quite an odd question. with the bankruptcy , chrysler will be able to restructure w/out worrying about all its debt. the company isn't going anywhere. & with the partnership with fiat, they will have access to newer gas saving technology. we'll see what happens .

i'm not sure if he is taking the country in the right direction or not, but he sure is trying & trying harder than any past president i can recall. there doesn't seem to be anything he won't take on. america needed a shaking up for sure & they are getting it at last. i wish him the best.

well, even with new cars you have to get shaken & pay new car tax .a new car's shaken is for 3 years. then every 2 years. it used to be every year for cars over 13 years old i believe, but they changed that. i wouldn't think there are that many cars around over 13 years. looks like i'm wrong though. reducing the yearly car tax on a new car would be helpful as well.

outof my depth. what is it that makes daisuke over hyped? the guy is damn good. was a real good pitcher in high school. had awesome stats with the seibu lions. won the wbc mvp award twice. his 1st year in the mlb he collected a world series ring. he was 18-3 last year with a 2.70 era. pretty nice career so far i'd say.

1 of the bigger problems here is the distribution system. too many "middle men" . of course, the middle men create jobs, but they have to figure out a way to distribute the products w/out raising the consumer prices too high as well as sharing the distribution equally to many different companies . not company to company to company . panasonic to 1 company & to consumer. of course panasonic directly to consumer would be the best price for consumer, but may increase unemployment too much.

skipthesong, maybe she is doing it as a statement, but also awareness is a factor here as well. america is a very wealthy country. they have the capability, although they don't do it very well, take care of their own. malawi is one of the world's least developed countries. all the help they can get the better

korea vs. japan was the best matchup for this finals. japan being the reigning champs of the wbc & korea winning the gold medal at the summer olympics. 2 best teams in the world at the moment it seems. as many have posted, america is all about the money. pride is 2nd for sure. but if the wbc becomes more popular in the states, usually a small footnote in the american papers, they will start fielding better players & play with a bit more pride i feel. still don't know if that would help them. only time will tell.

they should try handing out some kind of vouchers which have to be spent in stores. this guarantees the money isn't just saved & gets back into the economy. also, put a short expiration date, so all will be used in relatively the same time frame. although i don't really feel this would be a big boost to the economy , better than just cash which can be stashed under the futon.

just trying to put the whaling situation in perspective. glad to hear you are equally unforgiving & i feel people like yourself should speak up. speaking out is what i feel helps control these situations. i disagree with the way activists , such as sea shepherd go about their protests though. they should speak up & take action, just that they should find a better & safer way for all concerned.

i found getting a japanese credit card from an american airlines like united or american air, seemed to go smoothly. you also get mileage for using the card which is a nice added bonus . they also usually give you a mileage signing bonus when (if) you are accepted.

a wonderful place to visit. highly recommended. if you have kids, there is a great amusement park nearby. kijima kogen. the amusement park also has a huge wooden roller coaster , which is cool. 1 weak point about yufuin is that restaurants close early. so, if you plan to eat out & not in the ryokan you are staying at, be sure to get out there early.
