guns are so embedded in u.s. culture & so many millions own guns, that it's too late to stop ownership . obviously, much safer in countries w/out firearms & they should never change the laws in those countries.

yes. that "other guy " harold ramis, also co-wrote ghostbusters. he also did caddy shack & analyze this, among others, which were also good .

i never discouraged it, but when they hit elementary school & started coming home with questions, i told the truth as i always do with them. anyway, i was tired of santa getting all the credit for all my good deeds during x-mas time ;-)

the trains & buses aren't too bad, but not too nice in a restaurant. also, for some odd reason, people seem to scream when talking into a cell phone. also have to learn how to use manner mode!

well, japanese being over 80% buddhist would explain why they don;t take a holiday on christ's b-day. lights are just for advertising & enjoyment also as many households also decorate. as for doing it too early, it's a lot of work putting up decorations , so kind of wasteful if only doing it for such a short time. from november is cool. lightens the mood as well.

.*that's because most of the people you're looking at in the usa are obese. so, compared to them you're slim. i'm 84 kg at 186cm & considered fat (overweight) in japan

in the american NHL there are 30 teams & 16 get into the playoffs. same with the NBA. a team coming in last in their division can reach the playoffs if they have a good enough winning percentage . so, in comparison, the japanese league system doesn't look too bad after all. that being said, that free win to the division leader is a bunch of c_ _ p !

latin american countries don;t want the usa to legalize marijuana as it would cut into their profits substantially. they make much more money having it illegal & smuggling it into usa.
