This affair repeat the famous scarlat letter:"In June 1642, in the Puritan town of Boston, a crowd gathers to witness an official punishment. A young woman, Hester Prynne, has been found guilty of adultery and must wear a scarlet A on her dress as a sign of shame. Furthermore, she must stand on the scaffold for three hours, exposed to public humiliation. As Hester approaches the scaffold, many of the women in the crowd are angered by her beauty and quiet dignity. When demanded and cajoled to name the father of her child, Hester refuses."...The story is from the northamerican puritanism. Four centuries ago!!

What so wonderful world!!!!.This is like the muslim society!!!. If this behavior can be compared with the muslim punishment, the social protest in Japan is much less than in Pakistan, Iran or Afghanistan. I cant believe that someone think that "she signed a contract".....No,no. This punishment is too much within a modern society . The next step is :"use a letter in your face".

Apology... Apology... Apology... All of the apologies in the world will not bring back the life of this child. Japan is famous for making a whole lot of apologies and not fixing the problem at hand. When will these people start. To wake up and do things that will better the lives of the people that are around them.
This teacher that dis this to this child probably did it many times before to other students too. He should be severely reprimanded and made to pay severely for his unprofessional actions. And as of the principal of the school that this child was attending, he should be made to step down immediately because it sure looks to me that he can't do his job correctly in a professional manner.
I'm agree with this comment at all.

basketball team which the 47-year-old teacher had coached since 1994. The teacher is currently on suspension....¡¡poor teacher!!!!. An student died;mother lost her sun. The newspaper publish the notice but the teacher is only resting at home. Mr. Hashimoto is right: this is unacceptable. We must say (at leat): no more teachers like this person.

The coach has apologized to the boy’s family in the wake of his death....¡¡¡Good!!!!. Is it enough?. Of course not. The coach must be punished. The punishment is not enough to make disappear the suicides like a social question. But in this case the question is one student (wonderful person as newspaper says) and the cause is one person:the coach. He must pay his illegal behavior.

This article is not very accurate at all. The true reason that kids in Japan are getting fatter is not only because of Fukushima. It`s because many parents of children in Japan today seem to not have much time and responsibility to take care of their children on a daily bases.......This is right; We needs take in account this affair.

This affair isn't a rare case. The violence against womans still shows the japanese androcentric culture. There is several marriages of japanese mans with latinamerican womans . The regular treatment to those womans is very discriminatory or directly violent. I hope that this notice can help to those womans to use the legal framework to defend their dignity.

And after this suicide, after the girl sacrified, what happens with teachers and her friends, family?.I can't believe that there is not justice after all. Really:No one can believe this except japanese people.
