Modern Japan is full of layabouts. The country is underbreeding itself out of existence. It's economic status will decline with its population. How will the government ever pay its huge public debt without a population to tax it from?
Japan needs a government with vision and vitality to stimulate economic and population growth.

Both sides need to calm down. The damage this is doing to Japan's economic recovery is not worth the cost of 3 uninhabited islands.

early morning calisthenics and company anthems arent panasonic's problem. its the problem hitting all tech giants- being out-manouvered by Apple and Samsung. They are just completely tapped into what consumers want at the moment, and everyone else is catching up after years of malaise.

The entire industry- not just Japan- is falling behind Apple and Samsung. Apple's philosophy of simple, elegant design and intuitive user interfaces has had everyone playing catch up for a decade.
It's do or die for all companies. They don't need to copy Apple, they need to better them. Thats how Sony will turn it around.
