quite possibly the most inefficient banking system currently existing. the banks close at 3pm. it takes them 30 minutes to exchange currency (i'm not even joking!). i was shocked and appalled.

antarctic waters are international. if japan simply unilaterally pulls out of the moratorium on whale hunting, australia won't have a legal leg to stand on. unless they want to declare war over a couple of whales.
