it's sad how alcohol in Japan is used as a quick fix for Japanese people to just loosen up. bonenkai, shinennkai, enkai, etc. it's just part of their culture. if people could only just become more sociable more naturally at work rather than induced like a drug at these parties.

I am glad that I work at home so I don't have to drive to work like everyone else. one good thing about the high gas prices is that people may start thinking more about not driving around so much. this will help with the environment problems slightly.
