"The NRA has called for armed guards at all U.S. schools and has said it will oppose efforts by Obama’s Democratic allies to reintroduce a ban on the rapid firing assault weapons used in several recent shootings."

    NRA-idiots! They will never learn.

“We were disappointed with how little this meeting had to do with keeping our children safe and how much it had to do with an agenda to attack the Second Amendment,” the statement added. The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution enshrines the right to bear arms.

Hey NRA/US Gov-this is the 21st century in case you didn't know it. Change the god damn amendment to suit the times.

More guns + slack rules and regulations = more gun related violence and death. It's very simple America. Don't you get it? More lunacy to come from the " supposed #1 developed country" in the world. Look at the statistics, they don't lie. America is right up there with places like Mexico, Columbia, Brazil, and other loving gun nations in terms of crimes and death at the hands of a gun. The sane, common sense individual seems to be in the minority in the good ole USA. You're making your bed.........

And what country is that? EVERY country has flaws, EVERY one of them, if its NOT guns, it's something else, there is no such thing as a utopian society.

That's right, BUT these awful events happen with regularity in America, and they have not dealt with this problem seriously enough. They don't want to ask the tough questions or listen to the tough answers. Also, the NRA should cease to exist. They are the main reason that change has not taken place. As long as an organization like the NRA continue to block bills or changes in the gun laws, these horrible events will continue to happen.

She cannot sing. Have you heard her sing without music. Just terrible. The music covers her out of tune voice. She only has the 'talent' to rehash old songs and make 'new' mixed CDs so she can sell sell sell!! New Single, new mixed single, best of..., etc etc .

What a joke. You go to a club and you can't dance. Ridiculous!!!! Ah yes, Japanese people can't dance so they spare them the embarrassment.

No rocks, no sand, no plant life. Can you at least make it look as natural as possible. What a man-made piece of crap.

Yes I have been watching and the japanese coaches are indeed arrogant. But, it is becoming a sport where strength and size matter more than technique. I am bored by what I see in London. It has come down to push and pull, and the athlete who is the least tired from all that pushing and pulling will win. So I welcome putting more techniques back into judo. Also, the judges are inept.

Hope the unique styling of Saab continues. Much better than all the copycat designs that we have now.

@Laguna. I did the same thing about a 2 months ago. I sold my iPod and bought a Sony. Amazing amazing sound!!! I have a Mac but Sony's sound absolutely puts the Ipod to shame. Sony also changed their software so now I can use it on my Mac. I have no problems transferring music from iTunes into the walkman. I just use a third party software. Sony will rise up again!!

Thanks soldave. Another question: Is ALL the money being used OR have some agencies, politicians, directors or higher ups pocketed some as an "administration fee" or some BS like that? Just asking because I've seen "charity events" in this country where 100% of the money raised was not actually given to said charity. Someone always has their hand in the cookie jar.

Japan definitely needs harsher penalties for crimes against children as well as the acceptance of problems and counselling for mothers or family members. Until there is some sort of change, these events(infanticide) will continue to pop up in the news. Why do they condone parents who kill their children? A slap on the wrist(which this mother will probably get) will solve nothing and help no one.

I think this is a child seat/parent neglect/police issue. This has nothing to do with the so called quality of Japanese cars versus western cars. Time and time again I have seen children jumping around the car while mother or father was driving. The point here is that they are rarely "buckled in". What are parents thinking!!! Tmarie makes a good point. There may have been a child seat, but was it properly secured inside the car and was the child actually buckled in it? It simply amazes me that police will spend so much time "harrassing" or stopping people on bicycles, but they turn a blind eye when they see a child or adult in a car with no seatbelt. It turns my stomach. It has been proven around the world, that seatbelts save lives. Parents must be held accountable for securing their kids in the car. It should be noted too that more often than not, parents aren't wearing their seatbelts either. Even if your child is buckled in and you are not, you become a human missile in a high speed crash, and you can end up killing your child as you get thrown around inside the car. Wake up people! Wake up police, and do your job!!!

I think he is done. The fault lies with the Seibu Lions in Japan. Japanese teams often abuse talented players here and use them too much. This is what happened to Matsuzaka. He was such an amazing pitcher for the Lions, and they forced him to throw too many innings.
