pathat: you're completely right! only 10 people in a country of 127M people. I'd like to know how many people gets sick from eating raw (Japanese) eggs in Japan per week. The 'gyoza case' has two features which surprise me: 1) different brands were poisoned with the same substance? what's the use of such a substance in the production process? 2) only a few packs were contaminated? how is it possible? if the poisoning is caused by a wrong manufacturing process, a whole product line should be contaminated, not just a few cases scattered all over the country. Does anybody remember what happened last year with the Schindler elevator? ALL purchases were canceled for only ONE accident. Could anybody guess what would happen if a whole country would cancel the purchases of, let say, Toyota cars because a guy in who-knows-where had an accident and died? The thing is that now, I have no option but buying extremely expensive Japanese vegetables without any alternative, whereas before the gyoza cases I could at least buy frozen Chinese ones in a far bigger bag!

“We didn’t think it would be a problem as long as nobody noticed what we were doing.” that's funny...did they think nobody would ever notice? hahaha!!! in a McDonalds? well, they serve junk food, but to the point of providing also with a porn show, that would be nice.

well, I'm not American nor Japaneses, but I guess Japan wouldn't be what it is today unless USA helped them as much as they did by buying their products, specially when Japanese products sucked compared to others.
Posted in: The U.S. did a great job at deboning the Japanese until most have no spine, no guts and no strength left in them. They couldn't do much to my generation, but most younger Japanese are as weak as one can get.

'Asian' meaning 'Japaneses'? I see...well, Japanese architects can only dream of ugliness, just have a look around, it's everywhere! So, I guess that building towers is just a way to scape from such dullness.
Posted in: Asia is different from the United States and Europe. We dream of more vertical cities. In fact, the only choice here is to go up and use the sky.

Is there any thing that could be close to be called Australian cuisine? Is this, if it exists, any close to the English cuisine? I see...and this guy tries to teach to Japanese about cuisine? I think he has missed the right country. The problem of Japan is just that of trying to follow Western cuisine and then copying only the lowest forms of food ever: USA and UK food. Is this guy a new Jamie Oliver wannabee?

there are cherry trees all over the world, not just in Japan. In fact, it is even common that in these places, those trees produce cherries, not just flowers (surprise!). Apart from that, there are two kind of trees with blossoms even nicer than the cherry tree: the almond tree and the orange tree, and both are far more fragrant than the J-cherry trees. As far I've seen, hana-mi is basically eating and drinking outside in the very early spring days, with friends or family. Well, that can also be found anywhere else in the world! The difference is that BBQ here are tiny-mini and parks are infested of people...

VoxMan: well, the difference between homicide and suicide, despite the 'cide' which is the Latin ending for killing, is that in the latter one decides to die, while in the first this question is not asked before being shot. Just a little difference, don't you think so?

they were not in vain! hahaha!! what a huge business it has been!!! yeah!! btw, what's the proportion between, let's say, Iraqis being slaughtered at home and Americans? How many are killed in USA by guns? around 10,000 deaths in homicides involving firearms in USA in a year....USA it's kind of more dangerous!

I guess it'll be, as usual, exact 85cm. 84.999cm will be acceptable, but 85.001cm will mean obesity! hahaha!! funny! Nobody will claim about discrimination based on one single anthropometric measure? What about measuring IQ to become a politician? I guess that being just under 90% would suffice, and never asked to reach normality!
