NOTHING But a bunch paranoid readers here and posters. I totally agree with this post!!!
The article mentions only that information related to "defense, diplomacy, counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism" may be designated as state secret information.
Again as hiding out posted this well it has nothing to do with having access to a persons shady character security codes, bank pass codes and full credit card data", most of the paranoid here suggest.
Well Said hiding out " Nor is it "ANYTHING", or "any government action or decision" .... its just the top secret stuff that average schleps like us never get to know anyway". The law allows government ministers to designate as a state secret information related to defense, diplomacy, counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism.
Well said Hiding out!!! "All countries have them and all countries want to protect them"
TOTALLY AGREE! It is the very same people that blame idiots like Snowden and Manning for blabbing what they knew and forcing governments to close loopholes with laws like these.
Japan need to protect their secrecy from lessons learned in the past. I wouldn't be surprised if half of the posters here are moles themselves spreading this disinformation. I say this because technology has changed over the years electronic media is the fast way to disseminate misinformation. The Japanese Red Army is still alive and well and if anyone of the posters don't have one clue about their history then I suggest they go read about them and then they will get a clear understanding.

Great job Abe for pushing this through at break neck speed and without any consultation with the public and despite disagreement. Every country has and need to have some secrecy. A lot of the post that I am reading come from paranoid people who have no clue of what or how politics work. They are the very same people who post here Every day and become very opinionated against others opinion and very quickly to say some one is wrong. I'm sure after posting this post he will respond. With that said MY Opinion is Japan needs this at one time Japan was the number two economy in the world and has fallen. Secrecy doesn't have to mean you can do certain things what Abe is doing is trying to prevent Japanese trades secrets from being leaked out which has made other countries very lucrative in a little or no time. It is mainly large group of Chinese and Koreans who live in Japan who are totally against this who are very well connected to large corporations and politicians whom they rely on for this information to help the advancement of their country. Once the lid is shut they can't provide this information. Keep in mind espionage is not just about stealing secrets or spying the most costly comes at stealing Corporate trades secrets and this is whats killing the Japanese economy. I Abe will likely push that through at break neck speed and without any consultation with the public and despite disagreement. I commend what has happened and evidently the ruling party within voted for this. Most people in Japan are not interested in politics as most westerners are most Japans politicians who hold a position in office win based on family name. Last but not least secrecy in government even amongst families members are nothing new. I'm sure if anyone on this post who has ever been asked to keep a secret couldn't keep if they did it was because of severe consequences they will suffer should they divulge what they were ask to keep as a secret. The stiff fines and prison sentences that are being proposed is no different their is a price you have to pay for everything. Again i personally think this is a good move for Japan. Ok the trap has been set.

I think for every murder or crime someone has seen something or left a clue. I am thinking the murderer could have simply been someone who visits and know the area very well i am also thinking perhaps someone knows because people tend to talk and if the police raise the reward money perhaps people will talk more given their identies are protected. Its a shame a little child can't walk to school my only thinking is she has seen the killer many times before and trusted him or her may her soul rest in peace and I hope the killer and i know the killer will be found some day and finally the parents of this innocent child can have some closure in their torn life.

I don't think America wants to go to war with China. Flying planes over the sea is one of the few options they have on the table. Lol!!!
Laugh now cry later what makes you think the USA has to "fly planes across the sea" you don"t have a clue I'm glad you think this way because you can't hit what you can't see. Go figure that one out! Another thing ever weapon china has is a copy of something another country has it takes years to test these weapons and china make them in a week LOL that funny fly one mission and they are done thats if they fly at all! Chinese are very good at copying everything they make now i know why the eyes cross from staring too hard copy that!

@nvna5ux02 China/Russia on the other. China+Russia is a disaster scenario for the US, one that the US has put in great effort to avoid for the last 40 years.
Are you serious do you really think the USA is worried about China and Russia you better think again if you don't design these systems of mass destruction and all you have is a clue of what they do my advice is think again The USA can call end game anytime and believe me I know I'm in the mix so don't under estimate the sleeping giant he may be sleep but he is definitely not dead if you don't know about politics don't talk about war if China was so great they would keep their citizens the rich ones that is its all economics that is something China don't want because the US a d Japan are the biggest partners so why would you bite the hand that keeps your country thriving

Why when something goes wrong "American/America" have to be brought into the conversation or had something to do with the ills of other countries. He seems as if most posters here just blame the United Snakes for everything or as a poison pill for ever other country wrongs!

Its funny the usual posters that usually have something to say about non-issue decided to stay on the sidelines concerning this issue. Anyways I have a friend who speaks fluent Japanese and he is African American his wife PURE 100% Japanese he was so paranoid about his kids growing up in America he moved to Japan where he thought he would fit in and be accepted! Well he got a rude awakening, so did his wife. When the kids went to the play ground to play the other kids would say his kids had a funny face the wife couldn't join the mothers club. Guess what he quickly moved back to the US saying its more tolerable, and I said to him what about your safety and security that you went looking for? I haven't heard from him since. He thought he could be accepted and fit in and he couldn't his wife couldn't take it because even though she was Japanese she married out so she didn't fit in no more. I guess he thought he could change the perception but it didn't work, last I heard he was home schooling LOL

White girls on average began developing breasts at a median age of 9.7 years, about four months earlier than found in a separate study in 1997, said the report in the journal Pediatrics.
A higher body mass index, or ratio of height and weight, was “the strongest predictor” of early breast development across all races in the study.
Wait so does this mean asian women never reach puberty because thy don't or most dont have breast? what with th study?

Again guns don't kill knives don't kill they just be the weapon of choice by some person who lost it and use those weapons of choice to ace out someone

Remember posters guns don't kill people do and KNIVES don't kill people do whether its a gun in the US or a knife or jumping in front of a train in Japan you HAVE to blame the person not the weapon of choice. The end result is death as of a result of the choice of weapon it depends where you live and the freedom of choice.
Regardless of where you live death is death whether its done by a knife or a gun "one poster said he feels much safer getting from from point A to point B. Hell i feel living safer in Seattle than living in Mexico who is to say you can or can not be taken out by some act Of God and you never leave point A we take a chance everyday we wake up the next day is never promised. Lets not blame who has the most guns or who has the most knives if anything blame the person. I know one thing if i had my choice of weapon I would take a gun over a knife any time. The more educated you are about guns the safer and more rational you are people buy them for different reasons just as well as people buy knives for different reasons. Believe me if its not a gun or a knife man would find a way to kill its our nature so it is what it is
