I dont like to see smart phones getting bigger and bigger. At most 4.0 inch is enough for me. 4.6 and 4.8 like Galaxy are a bit too large.

I think Japan has offered an environment in which foreign makers can be flourish, and there aren't such big obstacles as they said. Then why do you think European makers like BMW, Mercedes, and Audi are so popular in Japan? Most Japanese consider having a car made by foreign maker especially European is a kind of a status symbol.
American makers not only Ford have already had bad image in Japan. I don't know well about recent Ford's cars, but their cars are regarded as fuel-consuming, too big, and not confortable. Also preference on cars is very different between Japanese and Americans. Japanese people don't like to have a sort of wild cars. If you seriously want to be flourish, how about thinking of creating new cars which suit for Japan's market, not just exporting their cars. Many Japanese makers have produced cars only for foreign markets to penetrate in the markets.

Very very good game. Congratulations Darvish from Japan. I get a day off to watch this game, and I am very satisfied with both Darvish and Kurodas' performance. I wish both also played well in next games.

It would be possible to maintain Japan's energy supply without nuclear power in the short term like one or two decades. But in the long term, it would not be sustainable. We have to seek alternative ways to produce stable energy supply. If there were not, nukes is still an usable choice, I think. Considering the current situation in using sustainable energy, it is not efficient enough to replace nuclear power. I wish some breakthroughes in utilizing sustainable energy were made in near future.

Multiculturalism is one of the concepts.Promoting multiculturalism might be a great idea to encourage diversity, which is often beneficial for the development of a country. But, a country does not like to promote it. It's no problem. It's their way to go. Of course, violence and discrimination against foreigners should not occur in the country. But, I think there is no obligation for all countries to promote multiculturalism.

It is no problem for Iran to try to develop nuclear weapons untile other nuclear nations decide to eliminate their own nuclear weapons. What is a difference between Iran and other nuclear nations including Israel, India, and Pakistan? seems unfair to criticize only Iran severely.

I understand that Japan's aging society makes it very difficult to keep the tax as low as it was. We may have no choice but to rise the tax. But, I think the government has something they have to do before rising the tax. Isn't it impossible to downsize and economize the budget any more? so I'll vote No at this time.

If I'm correct, NPT stipulates nuclear nations to reduce the number of their nuclear weapons. But the US, Russia and China seem not to reduce the number of weapons. The US have accused Iran of not observing NPT or somthings, even though they also don't observe. Funny.
There is no need for the US to intervene those things with its weapons, I think. What those Republicans said sounds much more preposterous for me.

Anyway it is a bit awkward to compare iPhone with Android. iOS with Android.

As of now, iPhone is the best, I think. But in near future, Android will surpass it. Windows Phone has also been growing well in consort with Nokia. Windows8, which is going to have a similar interface and strong connection with WP, will support WP. it is very interesting to see such a intensive competition.

Can this rule be applied only to Kimigayo? Thinking singing Kimigayo as just a rule of a ceremony in a sort of companies, it would be not unusual that those who refuse to observe a rule in the ceremony receive a kind of penalty. All companies and institutions are able to order their employees to do something needed to run their business smoothly. This decision would have nothing to do with specific nature of Kimigayo. The judge may think the teachers give too much especial weight to Kimigayo. But, if they mean that we must sing Kimigayo just becuase the song is Kimigayo, national anthem, it is a ridiculous decision.

It seems true. Chinese makers will also surpass Japan's ones in a couple of years. Business in Japan tends to be too conservative and they seem to think they could succeed with those obsolete ways. Conservation never allows manufactures to make innovation.
Today, priory is given to creating software rather than hardware. Japanese makers are poor at building software which is confortable and easy to use.

There is no need to promote Japan's sub-culture by the government under the name of Cool Japan. Those subcultures such as Anime and Manga are created just for fun, not for being proud of them. It is very pleased that some foreigners get interested in such things and appreciate them. But intervention of the government in such fields would ruin all funny products, I think.
Anyway, "Cool Japan" sounds bit awkward.
