This whole sorry episode just epitomises the short termist and illogical nature of the stockmarket. Shareholders have a lack of business information to know what they are talking or investing into as their "business interest" is the term used to describe/cover their basic nature of greed and drives the market of so called "analysts" who know a little more than the average FT reader about underlying business activties.
I originally wished that this "merger/take-over" would happen as I sensed that this would be a step too far for the Vole and tip it over like a humpty dumpty. The hope being that this would change the whole IT market.....never mind.....but it will happen, its just a matter of time...

instead of going for the easy typcial marketing spin job of the decols...airlines should focus more on the level of packaging/materials used on inflight meals, which are traditionally covered to the hilt. That would be an actual reduction in material usage now that the companies could affect instead of relying on engine efficiencies and better plane designs, which take years to design, build and roll out.

My interpretation of his statement on "dumbing down" is more to do with the difficulty of the entrance exams, as I agree that once you get into university, its like a fun holiday...I studied at a top 3 Japanese uni and it was so easy!

UnagiDon>I sorry but its clear that she wasn't good enough for that newsreader role so they obvioulsy just gave her route 2 into tv work. Newsreading is a precise role with tough pronounciation requirements, good news readers are not always super cute (it doesn't hurt but its definitely less so than you think).
