Stuffed bears are generally docile if stuffed with cotton. Those stuffed with humans obviously are not. Try not to become the stuff of bears.

****The bigger they come, the harder they fall. OJ was sitting on top of the world and blew it. Even after a second chance he blew it again. Guess he can't live without notoriety; attention at any cost.

These places have so many cameras they make you paranoid. I'm scared to reach for my wallet for discount card; afraid they'll think I'm stuffing something in my pocket.

Anyway, theft is theft and deserves harsh punishment.

****I'm sorry, your orneriness. The line at check-out was tooo long and I was dang nigh starved to death. Besides, the security guard planted some of that stuff on me.

Gov'ts do what they damned well please, to wit, all the islands in the Pacific used for nuclear testing. It's a miracle that any life-giving oxygen is left on the planet.

Humanity has painted himself into a corner. A 747 burns 30 ton of oxygen an hour. The world could hardly work without them now.

By the way, didn't Australia have a plague of rabbits several years ago?

Do any of these news item have details somewhere. They always leave you looking for at least another paragraph.

"I kill you" is maybe onry words in Jiji's vocaburary. That sound rike Engrish to me. Even Engrish syntax.

Now, before you brand him a pervert, think it over. There's a possibility that he's almost blind and his olfactory nerve is ultra-sensitive. Maybe he thought he was catching fish.

Did they check his freezer for frozen panties? Or find any panty tempura?

****I wonder if he kept to a schedule. Top of the pecking order in his chosen profession; no one to bow to or kowtow to. Pretty good salary. Work hard, play hard.

He could have opened a purse shop as a side vocation.

Damn! Ten years is a long time to get away with crap like that. This oughta qualify as a capital crime. If they'd check back they'd probably find that some old ladies had an early demise from shock. I suspect elderly ladies made up most of the victims of this cowardly bastard.

****I've known some Japanese ladies who had more alcohol inside them than this lady has in her transparent ofuro. On a scale of 1 to 10 in wows I give her a 10.

A good one, Nessie. I was thinking, "A^^ in a glass",

****Not unusual. Sometime back a woman her in the states ran over her husband 3 or 4 times; even backed over him once. She weanted him dead. She was stressed out so he got pressed out.

Most people in a rage don't consider consequences. And the enraged killer certainly doesn't consider the killee's feelings.

In the states there is a long list of possible charges for an incident like this, but Japan has her own laws. Anyway, what a waste of life.

I was surprised to find so many Japanese who could read their writin' very well but couldn't write readin' worth a damn.

Sorta like English speakers who can't spell, I guess.

If you're a real mountain climber 31 December is the last day of the year you can climb Fuji.

****I guess I'm intellectually challenged. I missed the debates. I was too busy watching reruns of Law and Order. I figure that Palin will become president sometime during the next four years. At least that will be the lesser of two evils. Our country has been underway out of command since Reagen hit the whitehouse.

****Never climbed Fujisan but tried some volcanic yama with a group of young non-smokers. I was over 60. After the first quarter mile, breathing sulphur fumes, my main goal was getting back to my Ofuro.

Can't remember the mountain name. The only thing of interest I saw were a few scattered, wild Rhododendren and blue berry bushes.

A few days later I lifted the nails off my big toes. They had tried to punch their way out of my canvas shoes.

Folk ain't got no business in those pristine places.

****My first day in Japan during occupation I learned Japanese. Was easy. I got acquainted with onomotopaiea (spelling?) An old hand taught me "Oshiri moka moka naka naka jyoto". I didn't know what it meant but it sounded romantic so I used it a lot. It seemed to work pretty well. Every time I said it to some woman she took me home. After a tour there I came home dang nigh bara bara.

The most used word in Maebashi is "Bakayarrro! I learned that from cops and drunks wrestling around in the curbside azaleas.

Seriously, whatever language you're dedicated to learning would probably be the easiest for you.

********Obama is a shining star. He can't shut up. I think he's trying for the KKK vote. (sarcasm)
Four years ago I would have ran to vote for McCain but not now. We don't need a man in the oval office who doesn't know how many multi-million dollar homes he owns, can't decide whether to rebate or not, and will continue Bush's footprints for the next 4 years. I still respect McCain for his service time but nothing more. Anyway, he looks damned near moribund. Ain't votin' for Obama either. But, if I were forced to vote at gunpoint it would be for McCain.

********I'll bet he was a real hell rake.

Well, he can't help what life handed him anymore than I can. I've never had a fortune and never wanted fame so I'm glad I'm me instead of him. But, I think his pappy and mammy are good people.

Too bad Hiro couldn't do a hitch in McHale's navy.

Someone mentioned foreigners on the GW. Nothing new. We've always had a few foreigners in our navy.

As for crimes by crewmen, I suspect there will be more committed among 6500 nationals than among 6500 crewmen of GW.
