3 years was a typo. I was feeling so vitriolic that I neglected to notice.

I, personally, would rather see a Gomer/Goober ticket than what we have; republican and democrat. Regardless of which wins we are in for 3 more years of crap.

I can write kawa and yama in four kinds of script; Romaji, Katakana, Hiragana and Kanji. Learned that without any electronic thingamajig.
All you need to learn kanji, or anything, is a strong desire. I personally never had the desire.

Every time I think I've heard it all, something like this pops up.
By the way, isn't he, in essence, raping those whose garments he stole? Or was it consensual?
As for the bibld healing deviants and perverts all I can think is, "Swaggart, heal theself".

There is evidence that overuse of cell phones causes brain cancer. Can you imagine having 500 plus around you in a small space? Little molecules bouncing off the deck, bulkheads and back and forth through your brain.

About 30 years ago, when the U.S. had 9 economic classes, Japan had only 3. It's good to see they're full blown capitalistic now.
When the capitalist billionaires and crooked elite politicians find another planet with oxygen and a temperate zone how will the rest of society get along without them?
There'll be no beautiful chryptomeria trees to sleep under. They'll be dead from acid rain. Field won't grow grain for ramen. Fish will belly-up. Cows will all be Mad from having their teats pulled twice a day but getting bred only once a year. Mad cows everywhere.
What a future in store. Shameful. I think I'll just go quietly into that dark night.

Those kinky-haired, four-fingered little bastards should be removed from society.
I once went into a little, dumpy joint in Maebashi and had a couple beers. There were five kinky-heads in a booth behind me. I asked the mama how much in English. She asked the yaks, "Dou shio ka." One says, "Ichi mahn go sen." She worked her pencil and pad a while and then said, "Ni mahn yen."
I laid ni sen on the bar and she started yellin "No,no,no! I put one back in my pocket and left.
She followed screaming like hell. I would never cheat an honest person out of one cent or one yen but have now qualms about crooked bastard like the Yak.
In 1950 I almost got into a fight with a shipmate for cheating a rintaku rider out of 50 yen. I hate thieves and crooks.

In the better good-old-days crime was practically nil in Japan. Once it began it snowballed. In the beginning it was mostly white-collar crime but rapidly progress to heinous.
It's worse when old people, such as this one, are targeted.

****Any show with Sex in the title has a bigger audience than Ben Casey, or reruns of Law and Order.
It also affects the minds of younger people who can't distinguish reality from allegory.
If some idoru were to eat fecal matter it would become a hot item in the market.
Sorry to be a realist but I'm glad I'm an old bastard who won't have to live with the next generation. On another note, I won't have to see Hillary back in the white house; or is that Whitehouse? (Senile Dementia!)

****Not everyone in the world is Christian. And what are Christian values? Amy McPherson, an evangelist, used to ride her motorcycle into the church. She seduced Milton Berle when he was sixteen. He mentioned something about a straw in the Holland Tunnel.
Father Divine, Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Bakker, et al, had good Christian values. Religion has nothing to do with character. You can't change a leopard's spots. You might dip them in a barrel of dye but it's just a facade. The stripes are still there.

Asrael, merely a short sentence inferring that she's probably not innocent.
Other than that, no relevance. I read nothing saying that she was bound, gagged and dragged into that hotel room.

****Why does phony morality pop up with capitalism? The girl was 17. During the occupation I saw mothers pimping their 13 and 14 year old daughters on the streets of Sasebo.
I doubt seriously that this girl was a virgin.

****I wonder if he got more than he paid for the hotel room.
Over the past 63 years I have spent several long tours in Japan, 50s, 60s and 80s. I've witnessed her growing from probably the most crime-free country on the planet to today's crime-ridden.
Money, money, money. And the population has doubled over the past 60 years.
